Why an “Unconference”? The premise of the Event encourages the role of theUnconference Attendees as protagonists by way of their active participation in peer-to-peer relationships.

– Founder and Director of the Consultancy TTi – Technology for Inner Transformation ,www.tti-transformacion.com, created in 2005 to assist people who form organizations inthe development of their Vision and in the realization of the Change in Mindset needed forthe Knowledge Society;

Rosana Agudo, a native of Bilbao, Spain, is aninvestigator and expert in cultural disciplines andtraditions related to the inner development of thehuman being. As a Vision Coach, she has beenaccompanying people in the constant development of their vision-based action for the past 19 years.

In the year 2000, she founded the Institute for OneWorldHealth , www.oneworldhealth.com the first not-for-profit- pharmaceutical company in the United States and for which she servesas Chair Emeritus.

In 2008 she founded Medicines360 , www.medicines360.org a new kind of pharmaceuticalcompany, also not-for-profit, that is self sustaining thanks to the sale of its pharma products indeveloped countries, the profits of which permit their sale, under cost, in economicallydisadvantaged countries. For Dr. Hale, economic benefit is a means of carrying out hermission, not the principal objective.

The Economist named Dr. Hale recipient of its Social and Economic Innovation Award in 2005and Glamour Magazine named her Woman of the Year in 2007 .

As a professor at University of Wageningen (Holland), Irena has been recognized by herstudents in her recent professional activity in the group of Environmental Sciences and hasbeen selected as “Best Professor of the Year” for two consecutive years.

In spite these acknowledgments, Dr. Ateljevic Jureta has recently left her professional post atthe University, with the aim of realizing her lifetime dream in her country of origin (Croatia),the project Phoenix Arbor , (www.phoenixarbor.worldpress.com ), an inspirational, action-driven meeting ground for progressive minds and spirits, leaders and emerging changemakers.

Dr. Hale is a pharmaceutical scientist and global healthsocial entrepreneur. Her Dream in Action is thedevelopment of new medicines for all humanity, with thespecific goal of reducing health inequities.

Dr. Ateljevic Jureta is an aclaimed academic andresearcher in the field of sustainable developmentthrough community empowerment. She has led theAcademy of Hope, an initiative of academics throughoutthe world who are striving to integrate principles of lifelong learning into higher education.

- Management of the project “Pour Tous” , www.auroville.org/society/PTDC.htm a distributioncenter based on an alternative economic system, the objective of which is to provide for thebasic alimentary and household necessities of all the residents of Auroville. The project wasconceived as a center of investigation for the practice of a more conscious and a moreparticipatory form of consumption.

* Auroville, located in the state of Tamil Nadu, India, was established as an international community in 1968 and is now home to 2000 people of 35 different nationalities. Auroville is a

foundation and is endorsed and supported by UNESCO and the Government of India.

Halla Tómasdóttir is also Chair of Veritas Capital, Iceland’s main pharmaceutical and healthcarecompany, and of TAL, a communications company; she sits on the executive board of theIceland Chamber of Commerce and has recently joined the board of Olgerdin, Iceland’s Pepsibottler and largest consumer products company. She has been a non-executive board directorof a number of organizations including the Icelandic Stock Exchange, and Sjova, Iceland’slargest insurance company.

Ms. Tómasdóttir has been the recipient of many awards, among them the 2008 Women in BusinessExcellence Award . In 2011, Newsweek’s “Daily Beast” included her in their list of “150 Women whoShake the World”.
