CAN I GET MORE THAN ONE BIKE?You can get two bikes, for example if you cannot take your bike on the train but you need a bike at each end of your journey. Please note the scheme does not allow you to obtain a bike for someone else.

2 Decide how much you would like to spend by visiting your local Evans Cycles store or go online at www.evanscycles.com

When your application is approved by your scheme administrator your certificate will be emailed to you.

Redeem your certificate in any Evans Cycles store, online or via our telephone mail order service.

Your salary sacrifice deductions usually commence from the next salary payment.

Work out the retail cost of the bike and/or accessories. Request a certificate to this value and agree the terms of the hire agreement.

HOW DO I SAVE MONEY?The amount you apply for is deducted from your gross salary over 12 or 18 months (your employer decides which term). This is called salary sacrifice and by reducing your gross salary there is no Income Tax or National Insurance payable on the amount you select.

TRANSFER4YOUIf your employer has chosen the Transfer4You option, at the end of your salary deductions Ride-to-Work will take over administration of the scheme from your employer and will contact you to offer you three options. These options are according to Government guidelines regarding the continued use of bikes at the end of the hire period.

If you choose to take ownership during the extended term, the applicable FMV is listed below.

Complete an Extended Use Agreement to use the bike for a further 48 / 60 months free of charge.

We contact you by email and offer to extend your scheme enabling you to continue using the bike at no extra cost.

Purchase the bike at current HMRC Fair Market Value rate.

You will own the bike but your overall savings will have been reduced.

Return the bike to Evans Cycles.

In the unlikely event of the bike being returned we will donate it to charity

WHAT HAPPENS IF I LEAVE MY COMPANY?If you leave your current employment before you have completed the monthly salary sacrifice any balance remaining on the hire agreement must be repaid without the tax savings. If you leave your employment after the salary sacrifice has ended your agreement can be extended within Transfer4You.
