Seminar Description Big Data & Business Analytics Seminar, organized within the Collaborative Innovation Center, an IBM and Politecnico di Milano initiative, will survey state-of-the-art topics in Big Data Analytics, providing a cross view about mining and analyzing data within a relevant range of industrial applications.

Each module will introduce broad concepts as well as provide the most recent business and research & development perspectives of IBM in this area, highlighting real world project experiences and testimonials.

The course will be held by IBM Data Scientists with a long experience in Business Analytics area.

Goals – Provide a technical and business overview & perspectives around Big Data Analytic

- Share a methodology to analyze and mine data- Connect with a set of Subject Matter Experts and end-user testimonials - Discuss a set of real word Big Data Analytics cases- Highlight “new professional roles” and career path in the analytics area- Illustrate and discuss Big Data Education Strategy and Offering delivered by MIP
