IN THE PAST, THE CARNIVAL HAS ATTRACTED A POPULATION CROWD OF UP TO 5,000 INDIVIDUALS, MAKING IT THE MOST ANTICIPATED EVENT FOR THE MAINLAND & IKEJA RESIDENTS DURING THE YULETIDE SEASON. IKEJA IS THE HEART OF THE LAGOS MAINLAND AND THE CAPITAL CITY OF LAGOS STATE. IKEJA PLAYS HOST TO A LIVELY BREW OF LAGOSIANS, UPWARDLY MOBILE PROFESSIONALS, TECH SAVVY YOUTHS AND ALSO A RICH BLEND OF LAGOSS ELITES WHO MAKE UP THE PULSE OF THE CITY BOTH CULTURALLY AND SOCIALLY. THE ORIGINAL AND SUSTAINED THEME OF THE CONCERT AS CONCEIVED BY THE ORGANIZERS IS A COLOURFUL JAMBOREE EVENT THAT DOES NOT REQUIRE ENTRY FEE FOR PARTICIPATION AND VERY HIGH MILITARY SECURITY.
