Were there any topics you would have liked to have covered that were not?
How to align the team to have one consistent message
Time problem really but we should have rehearsed Q&A although it went well in the "live" presentation
Involve the Bid Manager in a session to ensure that we have captured the key issues from the Client Questions

How useful was the inclusion of the following topics? Other Comments?
This was a vital workshop in getting the team to produce the best presentation they could by improving and refining their delivery
We had some new and practiced presenters but all benefitted from the practice and the presentation became both relevant and seamless as a consequence
We had some very difficult characters that were all confident that they didn't need any presentation practice etc....which they did....and they even admitted how useful it was working with Hugh and how much they learnt
Having the opportunity to present in an supportive environment & take the opportunities to learn was fantastic… I have only recently overcome having panic attacks related to presenting & this workshop really helped me

What worked well for you with the workshop?
The idea's were teased out of the team by the facilitator without us even realizing
Confidence instilled in the team so everyone comfortable with contributions and then developing the presentation skills
Proposition analysis was enlightening and helped us to build our pitch from a good foundation
Hugh was excellent at assessing the room and making the improvements that he could in the time available rather than trying to reinvent the wheel
The opportunity to have guidance on presenting from a great coach. There was clear direction and focus on the day for the outcome that was required. Kept the process moving and everyone on track
Very positive approach with support and assistance

What will you do different in the future as a result of attending the workshop?
Recommend greater use of a bid coach for future presentations and tender enquiries
Focus on people's strengths during the discussions so have a presentation strategy developing along with the actual presentation
Be better prepared and use lessons learnt from this session
Practice, seek internal feedback, brainstorm to draw out key messages, ensure benefit statements come out
Always practice prior to a presentation taking place, with additional time spent on the journey to the presentation rehearsing out loud to reduce the need for the script and feel confident on the messages I am delivering
Condense complex subjects into smaller better expressed sections and be more confident in what is being presented and understand the key issues that the Client is looking for

More meetings of the group to build the team bond, maybe some interactive works at the start (but then again I was new to the team so didn't know many people)
What (if anything) would have enabled you to get more from the workshop?
Better preparedness of our attendees
Retrospective forensic analysis of how it went on the real presentation and input from Hugh
Nothing to my knowledge
More time spent as a team working through issues in a discussion based exercise rather than "game"
More time and covered over a two day period

Earlier notice of topics from our client
What (if anything) would have enabled you to get more from the workshop?
Probably could have had a follow up session to bed in the learning's
Perhaps split over a couple of weeks rather than an intense 2 day session
Earlier preparation and the old enemy, more time
Fewer distractions...
More time
Perhaps preparation further in advance
