State Machine - The steps in a state machine workflow execute asynchronously i.e. they are not necessarily performed one after another, but instead are triggered by actions and states in previous steps. One state is assigned as the start state, and then, based on an event, a transition is made to another state and so on.

A l’échelle nationale - Les étapes d’un workflow à l’échelle nationale s’exécutent de façon asynchrone, c’est-à-dire qu’elles ne sont pas forcément effectuées les unes après les autres mais sont au contraires mises en route par les actions et et statuts des étapes précédentes. Un état est désigné comme étant l’état initial, puis, en fonction d’un événement, une transition vers un autre état s’effectue et ainsi de suite.
