Arrive in Israel at 23:35, and transfer to your hotel on the

Mediterranean shore for a good night’s sleep. (Those arriving on

earlier flights, are responsible for their own transportation to the hotel

in Netanya, or can wait at the airport and join the group’s bus that will

meet the 23:35 flight).

Visit the ONE FOR ISRAEL headquarters in Netanya and ISRAEL COLLEGE OF THE BIBLE to learn about their vision and ministry. Tour Caesarea where Peter preached to Cornelius (Acts 10) and Paul gave his defense before Roman governors (Acts 24-26). Ascend to Mt. Carmel to visualize the story of Elijah and the Prophets of Baal. Tour Tel Megiddo (the archaeological site associated with New Testament Armageddon).

Visit sites connected with the Ministry of Jesus around the Sea of

Galilee, such as the archaeological excavations at Magdala, a Jewish

town with synagogue from the first century; Tabgha, where we’ll

remember the breakfast on the beach following the resurrection (John

21) and Capernaum, a Jewish fishing town which became Jesus’

ministry base. Enjoy a panoramic view of the lake from the Mount of

Beatitudes. We’ll share a fish lunch together by the Sea of Galilee

(included) and then sail on the Sea of Galilee. View the remains of the

1st Century AD fishing boat that has become known as the “Jesus

Boat”. There will be an opportunity for baptisms in the Jordan River.

Visit the northern border, with a stop at Tel Dan, one of the two

alternative sites of worship built by King Jeroboam. for a view into

Lebanon. Tour Caesarea Philippi (Matt 16:13ff) and then ascend the

Golan Heights for a view into Syria and time of teaching/prayer.

Oct. 30 Drive through Cana to Nazareth, the boyhood home of Yeshua. Tour Nazareth Village, a reenactment of village life in Nazareth in the first century. Travel down the Jordan Valley, past Jericho, Then UP TO

Descend to the region of the Dead Sea. Explore Qumran, the remains

of the ancient Jewish community associated with the Dead Sea Scrolls.

Visit the oasis of Ein Gedi (2 Sam 24 – David hides from Saul) and

explore Herod’s spectacular mountain fortress, Masada. There will be

an opportunity to float in the Dead Sea.

7 Sunday

Nov. 1 Visit Bethlehem, including “Shepherds’ Fields”. If time permits we’ll visit one of Bethlehem’s famous olive shops, run by a local family of Palestinian Christians. Travel to the Judean Lowlands to visit the Valley of David and Goliath. Pass through “Samson country” and view the Sorek Valley (Judges 16). Stop at Tel Beth Shemesh, a Levitical city, where the ark of the covenant returned from the land of the Philistines.

8 Monday

Nov. 2 Explore the Old City of Jerusalem, with a walking tour of Temple Mount, the Pools of Bethesda (including worship at St. Anne’s Church). Then walk down the Via Dolorosa to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. In the afternoon, spend time at the Western Wall prayer area. Visit the excavations around the Southern Steps of Temple Mount and the audiovisual presentation at the Davidson Center. End the day with a tour and communion at the Garden Tomb.

The day will be at leisure for shopping or visiting other sites of interest on your own. Mahane Yehuda, the colorful open-air fruit and vegetable market is a short walk from your hotel. Or you might choose to visit Yad Vashem (the Holocaust Memorial museum), or to walk on the walls of the Old City, or to visit one of Jerusalem’s many fine museums. (Entrance fees for optional sites this day are not included in the price of the tour).

Single room supplement (extra if only one person in a room) $US 650

If you desire to be in a double room and do not have a roommate, a roommate will be assigned if one is

available. If a roommate cannot be assigned, a single room supplement will apply

Changes can occur in hotels due to factors beyond control

Changes in the price may occur, due to exchange rate fluctuation, up until 45 days before departure

The itinerary is subject to change according to weather and security conditions

Group transfer by tour bus to and from Ben Gurion airport. If you wish to join the group transfer from

the airport to the hotel, please choose a flight that arrives before the group flight, which lands in Israel

at 11:35 pm on Oct. 26, 2020. If you would like to join the group transfer by bus from Jerusalem to the

airport on departure day, please choose a flight that departs at 7 am or later on Nov. 4, 2020.

Eight nights in a double room (extra cost for those wishing a single room)

RATE DOES NOT INCLUDE:

o Flights to/from Tel Aviv.

o Cancellation insurance (policy to refund the money paid for the trip and airline ticket if it is necessary to

cancel due to a medical emergency)

o Health insurance (a policy to cover medical expenses for health issues that develop while in Israel)

o Passport and visa fees if applicable

o Lunches and other expenses not mentioned in the itinerary.

PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION PENALTIES

o The deposit of $200 is non-refundable and should be paid at the time reservations are made.

o Registration closes July 26, 2020 (or before, if the tour is full). Final Payment is due by August 26, 2020.

o 25 % of total trip cost will be charged if cancellation occurs 30-60 days prior to departure

o 50 % of total trip cost will be charged if cancellation occurs 15-30 days prior to departure

o 100 % of total trip cost will be charged if cancellation occurs 15-0 days prior to departure

DOCUMENTS

A valid passport for at least six months after returning home is required. It is the passenger’s responsibility to obtain, at their own expense, the documents required to enter Israel according to citizenship.

INSURANCE It is mandatory to purchase medical insurance that will cover in case medical treatment is necessary while in Israel. Travel insurance is recommended. Travel insurance covers expenses in case of cancellation due to health and other issues.

ISRAEL COLLEGE OF THE BIBLE shall not be liable or responsible for any injury, sickness, loss or damage to any person or property as a consequence of natural disasters, strikes, civil unrest or other factors over which the ministry has no control and cannot influence to change them. ISRAEL COLLEGE OF THE BIBLE offers no coverage compensation of any kind in cases stated above, nor for cancellations or inability to travel.

PASSENGER FITNESS

This itinerary requires each participant to be in good health and able to walk well over distances. Unfortunately, many sites are not accessible to people in wheelchairs or those who have limited mobility. If there are any issues pertaining to your health or physical fitness, please consult with us prior to registration.
