Definitions of worship

Dictionary: the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration

Greek word most often translated is proskuneo, meaning to fall down before or bow down before.

Spirit. Could mean not in your flesh/carnal ways but rather your heart or in your spirit. John 3:6. Could also mean in spirit i.e. praying in tounges Ephesians 6:18, Romans 8:26. Romans 12:1 suggests that if you strive for holiness, that is also spiritual worship.

Sacrifices - Cain & Abel. Abraham-Genesis 22:5 is when the word worship first appears in the bible.
