An example to follow

Alexey Volkov is not a superman who has magic

power. He is a real young man who has ups and

downs in his sport career. I’m sure, he can be an

example to follow to many Russian boys and girls.

Some years ago his teachers and classmates didn’t

expect he could win in European and World

Biathlon Championships. He proved that an

ordinary boy from a provincial Siberian town who

worked hard and trained a lot could become famous

in biathlon society. These days we are proud that

he studied at our school.

There are a lot of talented athletes in Russia. Alexey

Volkov is one of them. We wish him to be qualified for

the Olympic biathlon team, do his best and together with

his biathlon teammates win as many medals as they can.
