They work with babies, children, teenagers, and
sometimes young adults. They diagnose and treat
infections, injuries, and many types of organic disease
and dysfunctions. pediatricians manage physical, mental
and emotional well-being.

pediatricians. If you choose to specialize in pediatrics,
when you study medicine you will find that this field is
fascinating as well as pleasant do to the fact that
children are the joy of life.

Schedule
It depends on how much the pediatrician wants to
work. Some pediatricians choose to work part time,
either just a few hours a day or a couple of days a
week. While some work for very long hours and
sometimes they even get called at night. most
pediatricians are able to work as much or as little as
they want. Pediatricians normally work up to 9-12 hours
a day, depending on how much experience they have.

Pediatricians working conditions are usually pleasant
where they work, they work indoors in a well lightened
exam room and hospitals.

The average pediatrician in the United States is about
$171,467 a year. They average wage is $40.76 the hour.
The average salary highest paid pediatrician is about more
than $200,000 a year and the lowest paid pediatrician is a
much lesser salary of about $85,000 a annum.

Salary of the average pediatrician :
For the first 10 to 15 years, children see pediatricians for
their medical needs. Thus, even if the birth rate decreases,
pediatricians are still in demand as older children need to see
them. It is unlikely that demand for pediatricians will decrease
because the population is continuing to grow and more people
will have babies.
