With less than three weeks before we head to the vibrant city of Barcelona we thought we would update you on some useful information for your trip. Change in Agenda There has been a change in the Agenda. The FC Barcelona match will now be played on the evening of the 15th 'FCSVBSZ BU 4P ZPVS mSTU FWFOJOH JO Barcelona will be spent being a NO 1 FAN! It’s a great way to start our conference. :PV XJMM mOE UIF GVMM CSJFmOH EPDVNFOU PO the trip to the stadium in your welcome pack when you arrive at the hotel. Those of you with a later arrival time might go straight from the airport to the stadium so make sure you have everything you need for the game on you. Once you receive your welcome pack please ensure that you always wear your name lanyard, as this is essential for security access during the conference. These must be worn at the conference venues as well as for every evening event. 4VOEBZ UI XJMM CF ZPVS mSTU GVMM conference day and that evening we will attend the glamourous masked ball or baile de mascaras. Make sure you have packed your ballgowns and suits for this elegant evening in one of Barcelonas most prestigious venues, MNAC. Barcelonetta waterfront and sample some authentic Spanish seafood or tapas. You might want to take a trip to the Tibidabo hill for great views of the city.

Tuesday the 18th will be our last conference day full of possible prizes and fun, interactive sessions. That evening we will party at one of Barcelona’s most famous nightclubs –Opium. It is situated on the beach and promises to be a very entertaining Salsa evening. From Midnight the club will open to the partygoers of Barcelona and you will have an opportunity to mingle with the locals.

Wednesday the 19th of February will be a wonderful day for sightseeing and in the evening you will have another opportunity to explore this very beautiful city at your leisure.

Please be aware that there will be ushers to assist you with where your session will be. There will also be signs outside each venue showing what session will be held in that space. Every session will also be displayed on the screens on the main plenary room and on the plasma screens around the venue. The ushers will also be scanning everyone’s lanyards going into the venue to ensure attendance to every session.

Please make sure you are always on time for your session and that you follow the coffee break and lunch allocations very carefully to make sure you arrive back into your venue on time.

There will also be shuttles going from the hotel into the centre of Barcelona between the sessions and the evening functions. Please take note of the shuttles schedules in the foyer of the hotel.

Please note that you will have an allowance of 30 Euro for dinners of the 15th and 17th s well as for your lunch on the 19th. The amount of 90 Euro’s can be put to your expense account for the end of February.

Be sure to visit the exciting BI People exhibition stand in the foyer of the plenary venue (Great Room) where twice a day you will have an opportunity to participate in some interactive games that can win you some fabulous prizes.
