Bhuruka is always focused on quality of pure gases in cylinders. To achieve this Bhuruka has a separate division
called SGD which is in operation for pure and mixture gases cylinder filling activities since 1980. The Division has
all the modern facilities like -cylinder preparation unit, cylinder filling unit, gas mixing unit, and a separate
analytical laboratory consisting of following equipments-

Bhuruka is in the field of Air Separation Operation since 1975. The company has installed and kept on
upgrading the latest technology. The Latest Air Separation Unit (Linde Standard 3000) in operation
now has been designed and erected by Linde AG. This unit has all the latest technology to make it
highly reliable and lowest possible total - impurities (<1 ppm) in its products - Liquid Nitrogen and
Liquid Argon by cryogenic fractional distillation alone. Liquid Oxygen purity is achieved up to 99.9%
purity.
ARGON
As a noble gas Argon is inert and does not react very fast with other elements or compounds
Argon is colorless in gas and liquid state
Argon boiling point is -186 deg. C
Argon density is 1.784 g / L at 0 deg. C
Argon is heavier than air.

Kanakpura to meet the customer demand. Bhuruka has got full fledged facilities with latest technology with all safety

operation since 1978. Bhuruka produces Hydrogen by Electrolysis of
Water. Based on growing demand of High Purity Hydrogen Bhuruka has
commissioned a latest technology Hydrogen Generation unit from M/s
Teledyne USA. At present Bhuruka have all the facilities to fill and certify
the Hydrogen gas up to 99.9995% purity (total impurities less than 5 ppm).

TESTING
Gases are filled in seamless steel Cylinders at high pressure ranging from 150 to 200 bar. Such cylinders are also subjected to various weather conditions and handling during use at consumer's place as well as during transport, loading and unloading.
Essentially, the cylinders are made of a material that has a flexibility of expansion and contraction during pressurization. For various reasons this flexibility of expansion and contraction begins to deteriorate over a period of time. Similarly, on account of other conditions such as filling, handling, transportation and shop floor conditions there are chances of Weight reduction over a period of time. It may also develop certain other defects normally rendering a cylinder unsafe for use.
Globally such cylinders are required to be periodically tested for visual damages, weight loss and loss of elasticity. In view of the dimension of damage, which can be caused by a bad cylinder, being known, most people prefer to test these high-pressure cylinders periodically and is a mandatory requirement for safety.
We have a full-fledged 'GAS CYLINDERS HYDROLYIC TEST-SHOP' equipped with latest equipments & instruments to carry out inspection, Hydraulic testing & required up keeping of cylinders. Our Test shop is also equipped with drying of the cylinders using dry High Pure Nitrogen gas from our ASU.

The direction of cylinder rotation may be reversed easily. Cylinders can be rolled into the
VST-9 and easily tilted to the horizontal position for tumbling. The VST-9 is also capable
of tumbling 2 or 3 smaller cylinders simultaneously when the machine is loaded in the
horizontal position
The ISB thoroughly and efficiently cleans the cylinder interior in two to ten minutes. The
ISB-1D also protects cylinder life by removing only the rust, scale and corrosion from
the cylinder interior, leaving the cylinder wall intact.
Bhuruka Gases ltd has developed exclusive technology to purify Helium up to 99.9999% purity. The product can be filled into 50 lts WC cylinders up to 200 bar pressure. We have very good analysis facility to analyze the impurities up to 50 ppb level and the standards are traceable to NIST/NPL. We plan to supply to various Laboratories and Industries in India and Abroad. Specification of Helium 5.5 grade, 6.0 grade is as follows.

Moisture content will be < 2 PPM, Hydrocarbon is less than 0.2 PPM, 5 Micron filters used to avoid the dust particle in the product and cylinder internal condition is thoroughly inspected and properly prepared..
Certified Gas and Liquid Mixtures LASER GAS MIXTURES
The use of high purity gases results in better sensitivity and longer column and gas trap life. Higher carrier gas purities become more important when the GC is operated near its sensitivity limit.
The main gas impurities of concern are oxygen, water and hydrocarbons. While higher levels of all three species degrade sensitivity, oxygen and water accelerate stationary phase degradation, especially at higher column temperatures.
Gas cylinders should be changed when they reach 10% of their original pressure. This also helps to prevent complete exhaustion of the cylinder and subsequent heating of the column without carrier gas flow. This results in rapid and severe column damage.
