Water DistributionNetwork, SinawConstruction of the Water Distribution Network in Sinaw is the first international pro-ject we have been entrusted with, in the Sultanate of Oman, after seeing off stiff competition from a host of international infrastructure companies. The objective of thisproject is to improve thewatersupply in18villages in theSinawarea in theSharqiyah region, 200 kms from Muscat.
The source of water being the Sur Desalination Plant, the project aims to fulfill the needsofSinaw’spopulationof10,800people,expectedtogrowto24,000peopleby the year 2035.

DhofarMunicipality MainBuilding, SalalahSurrounded by mountains on one side and the vast Arabian sea on the other, Salalah, the southernmost city of the Sultanate buzzes with activities of tourism. Salalah is the second largest city in the Sultanate and it is the traditional capital of the Dhofar province. SMCIPL considers safety of the labourers working on site paramount and they are provided with essential safety gear such as helmets, jackets, harnesses. Regular safety audits are conducted on sites. Labourers are duly informed about various safety protocols and emergency exit drills are
carried out regularly. First aid is available on all sites.
SMCIPL organises regular First Aid Awareness camps on how it can save lives in everyday and crisis situations. Staff members are provided with basic knowledge of first aid training at work and
how to implement it should an accident occur.
