The game really interests me a lot however so I decided to make a faq aboutit since no one else has put one up yet. That's where I come in! Huahuhaua.If you haven't notice yet, it's my first one. So please be kind!

I live in AUSTRALIA and ride kangaroos, go bush bashing and say CRIKEY morethan necessary. That's what Americans like to believe anyway ^^;Ummmm my favorite anime would be Naruto at the moment.. 'cause it's awesome!Once I talked to this guy who's like 'Oh I don't like any of the 'popular'anime's it means that they suck' ..He said that about Naruto and just aboutevery anime I've ever liked and I flamed the hell out of him with a bunch ofother people. It actually started by us saying Dragon Ball Z is one of thegreatest anime's of all time. But that's another story!

This game is based on the anime 'Beyblade' copyright Aoki Takaopublished by Atari for the Gameboy Advance console. It's RPGish and youbattle the NPC using little machines with bitbeasts called "Beyblades".There is no linking from player to player in this game.

You play as the main character Tyson and can do things with him ie; walkingaround, picking up parts and items, customizing beyblade's, battling thedifferent NPC beybladers in the game. While you gain all the differentbeyblades and bit beast, you can power them up by getting them experience(xp)through battling and accessorizing your blades with the different parts youcome across.

You learn most of these in-game after battling the NPC and also from Ray &Max. But it takes a while to get it all down.

-- Let it Rip??? -- (Pre Battle Power Trip)aka--The Hella Confusing Rip Sequence That Took Serenity 2 Hours To Understand--

An Invisible judge is going to go "3...2...1.. LET. IT. RIP!"Now your goal is 100% Power and 100% Boost.

Basically after the 1, and during the "Let it rip" part (located at the topof your screen) you press the A button til the Lancher goes up to the leftmost of the rip cord meter, for a 100% boost.

BUT THATS NOT ALL! Once you've got the launcher on the very end of the ripcord, you then press (and hold) the A button for a 2nd Boost and let go ofthe A when the bar on the meter has reached its right most(Green area) whichwill (1)Increase your RPM, and (2) if 100% (even 95 is fine) will give yourbeyblade one third of his bit beast gauge power. 1/3 is all you need tosummon the bitbeast for a low time attack in the match. If you can't get it right, don't give up! Keep practising and soon it will come naturally.

- Attack (Hold A to charge attack)-Low Attack = Blue

-Medium Attack = Green -High Attack = RedB - Defend (Hold B to charge defense) -Low Defense = Blue

-Medium Defense = Green -High Defense = RedL - JumpR - Dodge

Minor RPM Medium RPM and Large amount of RPM are taken off forexecuting the blue, green and red attacks respectively.

A blue attack will attack the opponent straight awayA green attack will do little zig-zag movements then hit for medium damage

A red attack will usually bound off the wall for momentum then hit theopponent for max damage(exception of this is when you have a collisionwith your opponent and your beyblades).

Your damage is reduced or negated if the opponent has a defensive wall aroundthemselves.

Your opponent can damage you while your still charging an attack,(Even if your in RED and he's in BLUE he will damage you if you haven't letgo of the A button) and thereby negating everything you've charged up so youmust start again.

Defending can make the opponent take damage if he bashes into you

or uses a low powered attack while you have a high powered defense.Overall it's not that useful and takes too long to charge, but willalso fade away after a few seconds. Use this as a last ditch effort to winas it doesn't take any RPM to execute a defense.

Jump is a great way to avoid attacks you can see coming, and alsogives you a great advantage in the battle if your not taking any hitswith the opponents beyblade RPM higher then yours.

Dodge is like Jump, but won't work unless you use it at the last second.Otherwise his attack still carries through. If you have great time-reflexyou could easily master dodging every single attack. (The sudden ones he doeswithout charging at all are the trickiest, you won't be able to jump them butyou can try dodging).

--Special Combos--

A+B- Use Engine Gear (An equipment that will charge your beyblades RPM up)

L+R- Summon Bit Beast (Uses 1/3, 2/3 or 3/3 of the circular bitbeastcharge-up dial)

You'll know you did Engine gear properly because your beyblade will go on

fire for a moment and you'll watch your RPM fly up. (Many people arestill asking about this, please see the Q&A section at the bottomof this faq).

As for your bit beast special, it'll do a special 360 degree barrage ofmultiple attacks, each with a similar amount of damage you get from the redpowered "A" attack. Also note, 2/3 of the bit beast guage will be a mediummultiple attack, and 3/3 will be the psycho multiple attack. Around 12 for1/3, 24 for 2/3 and 36 for 3/3. If you releast it at for example, 1 and 1/2 ofthe gauge then it will default back to an 1/3 attack.

All the attacks are the same for the bitbeast damage wise.

I've only used Dragoon and Hayate though. Because it's better to workwith only a few rather then 50. So use your personal favourite!

I said the above because I didn't want to keep losing experience,but Mr. Jarrod Flowers sends in a tip which works around that.

UPDATE 17/06/05:I've tried his first tip(see below).It didn't work. But I have a theory (which you can confirm to me by emailing)that it will only work for Drigger bit beasts and Drigger blades. Dranzer

bit beasts and Dranzer beyblades, etc. I tested it with my 40xp UltimateDragoon within other Dragoon blades and the XP crossed over to other Dragoonbeyblades, but not non-Dragoon. While my Hayate bitbeast XP wouldn't crossover to any others.

Hi, I notice that there's a way to keep your exp. when switching beyblades.The way to do it is simple, just use the first dragoon chip you get in thegame (with Dragoon Storm). Example: Use Dragoon Storm in a couple of matchesuntil Max's shop opens up. When the shop is open, buy whatever beyblade you

want and switch the new bit chip with your old Dragoon Storm bit chip.

Jarrod Flowers also gives tips on not losing your beyblade with the following:

Also, if you don't want to lose your beyblade, just sell or drop any extrabeyblades you have.(Serenitychan:So that you only have one left)If you want the extra parts, keep swapping out parts in your collection.When you sell your extra beyblades you will still keep extra parts in yourcollection.

DUM DUM DUM....! Update, thanks to the kindly Daniel for giving me info.~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~Daniel McNamara has submitted the following info, and being a goodsamarian I tested it out.. he says......

"I was reading your faq on beyblade g-revolution and thought I wouldtell you some little things I've noticed so far in the game(I haven'tfinished it yet). Firstly I know how the blade out of the ring thingworks. If you (or your opponent) jumps to avoid an attack, but times itwrong you can be knocked out. If you jump too late, just at the rightmoment so your blade is off the ground but still low enough to be hit,as long as you are reasonably near the edge, you will be knocked out.You can also knock yourself out of the ring by going up to the veryedge of the dish and jumping. This can be useful if for some reasonyour blade is about to be destroyed but you won the previous twomatches, so you still win"(Serenity note:Or your too lazy to finish thelast battle =P).

And yes, I tested, the info is Legit.

So basically we understand two things.

1.)You can knock yourself out by jumping near the edge.This is good possibly for the reason above of 'nearly breaking' but Iprefer my reason of being lazy and already having won 2/3 matches.The tournament is just so tedious. ^_^ (Note:Preserve Daichi/Kenny'sbeyblade's life by winning 3/3 with tyson and 1/3 with dai/ken andjumping out of the rest.)

and2.)Opponent can knock you out if you jump when they've just about hit you.This is also true because I managed to get knocked out on the rightside, but hit on the left side! (I saw a little animation of him knockingme halfway across the dome aswell).

So there you have it folks, the phenomenon of being knocked out, isrevealed! *insane laughter*

-- Crappin' Timer --

As mentioned in the below Battling Strategy, I'll put it here too.

There is a timer that occurs between attacks and defends. I could describeit as a drop hitting water. If you pay attention you'll notice this ringthat expands after you've attacked. (about 5 seconds after you've performeda move). Getting used to this time will help you battle. Note that you can'tdo anything except move around before this timer shows up. It's to preventrandom button bashing of attack I suppose. That's right, your attacks aretime based. Consider it the gauge of a classic RPG.

-- Don't break my heart --

See the bottom left and right metres (colour varies in range from yellow,

blue, red, and clear). Think of it like a street fighterish game of youlosing one bar of HP, then it changes colour and you lose that, it changesagain, etc. If your beyblade loses it's life (Identified by the red chipping

away into clear, your beyblade BREAKS and will be gone forever! You canalso beat your opponent this way! It will say "Name's Beyblade hasbroken" and the entire MATCH is forfeit. Woot! But the same goes for you!Just be careful and repair ^^

Note:This is the reason why not being able to repair Kenny or Daichi's bladeis such a big deal. When their designated beyblade loses all of it's life

they won't be able to win ever again because everytime they battle theirbeyblades life remaining from last match remains the same (while Tai's andthe AI opponents doesn't). It appears to be a horrible bug in the game.So let's just say you won't have much replay value. Lol @ Atari.

keep spamming A or B? Well there happens to be a TIMER on when you can attackafter your last one. You will know when your able to again, because a flashything happens on your beyblade occasionally between attacks. Hard to notice,but once it does its thing you can attack again. On a second note withattacking, if your attack fails (like his attack or defense is higher, etck)you can attack again pretty much straight away.

When the opponents RPM (how fast it spins) is almost out, it increases it'sdecline RPM by alot just for spinning, and you'll notice the detail of thebeyblade because it's spinning slowly. Woot! You've won. That wasn't hardat all was it? *puff puff*

When you first start, you'll find you have a plastic rip cord and launcher.

These are really very crappy so you'll want to get new equipment right? Right.That's where Max's Dad comes in.

Max's Dad owns a beyblade shop in which you can buy rip cords and launchers.At the start you won't be able to get in as it's locked.

You also need to repair your beyblades occasionally if they take a lot ofdamage in battles.

Here's a list of beyblades available at Max's house. Any beyblades youfind missing are most likely due to my owning of them (I created this listnear the start of the game however).

When you acquire new beyblades, you won't be able to buy them from Max's dad.There may be some special beyblades that you can't get in the shop though.

Four things can improve your beyblade's ability, these are; Tyson, Strength,Exp and Equipment. Also please note the level of the beyblade. I think thehigher it is the more potential your beyblades have.

Update:Until I review it further, or someone confirms the real formula,I believe that 10 Experience of your beyblade will give it 1% attack damageincrease. (Incase you haven't noticed during a battle the Small, Medium& High attacks are the same damage if your not including a defensive wallaround the opponent).

For example, say one of my beyblades does 48 small attack(blue) damage with200 Experience. Then I get a 0 Experience yet same beyblade parts on anotherbeyblade. And he does 40 small attack damage. That's the 10 XP= 1%DMG formulain play.

========== ~Tyson~==========As you battle more opponents, Tyson's XP bar will increase and he will gainlevels, this in turn will strengthen your beyblades.

==========

~Strength~==========Near the top of the screen where it says Tyson's level, you will also seeit has a strength stat(). As this increases so does the beyblades stats.You can gain strength by acquiring *apples, drinking ~sodas , drinks fromthe vending machine & training with Tyson's grandpa(it only happens once).

Any combination of 4 apples, sodas & energy drinks = 1 Strength

*You can find all locations of apples following the walkthrough.

~Sodas are pretty much unlimited , the fridge gets refreshed after everyevent.

()Max strength is 15.

========= ~Exp~=========The individual beyblades themselves gain XP from battling opponents.Unfortunately the XP doesn't come across to other beyblades, so if you foundor bought a new beyblade you'll have to start again with 0 XP.

=========~Equips~=========The different beyblade parts will add different stats to your beyblade.The 3 stats are Strength, Endurance & Defense. So far there is no way to getall stats to 4 each, but if I find one you'll be sure to find it here =x

=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=00F3) Opponents=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=.=

There's lots of opponents in Beyblade:G-Revolution. And there's also a lotof perks from facing them all. When you win (or even if you lose) you

gain XP in your level gauge. You also receive some BBA (currency) and evenbetter you can take their beyblade! Just be careful not to lose..'cause itapplies both ways. You can't take beyblades in the tournament is the

exception.

The beyblade you earn from winning against them is for the most part, randomand depends on the game. So I can't exactly say "You find this beyblade offthis person" etck. If you battle every opponent (each opponent has onedifferent beyblade in the game however) then you will end up with allbeyblades. If you buy a beyblade from the shop, you might verse someone with

that beyblade, and you won't win it as a prize.

I'm pretty sure the beyblades on the floor have the same randomness rulesas above.

Please note during the walkthrough I will only say what beyblade I got in"MY" game. For your game you will most likely get different beyblades to mygame from the unimportant opponents. But you will get beyblade'snone-the-less.

===========================00A4)Getting Started===========================----------------------------------------------------------------------Note: It seems that who drops what beyblade varies from game to game,so I will just put the beyblade information based on my own. If youcan't get the beyblade your after, you can probably just buy it.----------------------------------------------------------------------

Starting from when you get in the menu you'll find 3 options. New game, LoadGame and Options. Options will let you change music and sfx volume. Press"New Game".

You will now find yourself playing as Tyson and what do you know, he'sslacking off in bed! Tyson's grandpa is trying to get him up for some kendotraining. (I didn't know his grandpa talked like such an idiot, does hedo this in the anime..? Nevermind dawg. Hah). Tyson speaks of going to thepark, so obviously you have to go there later.

...............Tyson's House...............Items:Dragoon Storm, Beyblade Parts(Cross Dragon, Try Cutter, Normal, Neo,Engine Gear, Semi-Flat, Grip, Bearing), Weight Disk(6 Wide), Apple x2Plastic Ripcord, Plastic Launcher, Blade Base(Flat), 20 BBA.

Tyson will pickup Dragoon Storm off his table. When you can move around,walk to the table he just went to and a little black magnifying glass willappear, this signals you can press 'A' to check it for items. Do so and pickup the Beyblade parts.

Now this is your chance to get used to some of the controls in themenu's and Customizing your beyblade by pressing R, "Go To Workshop", then

pressing "A" on Customize and scroll the different parts pressing "A" tochange what you want.

Now head over to the wardrobe and check for the 6 Wide Weight Disk.Head out the door in the front of Tysons Room to go to the back yard toget Apple x2 and Plastic Ripcord. Now head back into his room and go left.Take another left and pickup the green launcher in the upper-left of the room.Then look in the top right cupboard for the blade base accessory. Exit rightand check the right vase for 20 BBA (The currency in this game used forbuying blades / equip and repairing).

Now that we have everything from Tysons house it's time to go out and seethat annoying grandpa we don't like =P. Now when you go outside and startwalking around he'll make you go into the dojo to show you something. Thenyou'll watch..Or 'not watch' a scene of them sparring. Please note after thisit will say Strength +1. This is just one of the ways to increase Ty'sstrength and from now on, it never happens again.. pointless huh?

Now head outside and you will see the world map and a path. You can onlyfollow the path to the places and as the story progresses, new paths willopen up to you. At the moment you can only go to Max's house or Ray's.Head over to Max's house.

...............Max's House...............Items: BBA CreditsOptional: Beyblade Dealer Kid - Bump King.

You can only hang out in the front as you can see, it's locked. A kid willtell you that. Now walk around to the right and pick up the item, it's justsome money. Go left and talk to the Seller Kid. He'll offer you a beybladefor 30 BBA. Accept his beyblade everytime you speak to him, theyre cheaperthan the shop. Now leave Max's house and head to the only other area youcan go to, Rays home.

...............Ray's Apartment...............Items:Plastic RipcordBeyblades:Draciel Fortress(Shaun)

Outside the building you'll see a kid called Shaun there. He's the firstbeyblader you are able to face. Before you face him head inside to see Ray.He'll show you a tutorial of how to use the launcher in blade battles.Don't battle him though, his RPM is something like 4000, while yours isa miserable 800 at best. After you decline, he'll tell you Max wants to seeyou. You know what that means. Yay, we can go to his house now ^^... Is whatI would say. But the door is locked. So head out to the new path leadingto the park, east and south Ty's house.

Now head around the table to speak to Max's Dad and you can buy & sellbeyblades, launchers & rip cords. I recommend grabbing a few of theSuper Long Ripcord's and Proffesional Launchers, because the plastic run outof gas very fast, competition stuff is a bit expensive at this point though.Before you buy any beyblade's at this stage, you won't have much BBA. Sohead back to the Park to battle some people for BBA and their beybladesif you like.

Take this opportunity to go and beat Ray. He should have about 1000 more RPMthen you(4000~) do at this stage, but it's okay. Since he's hard I'll explain

a bit about the strategy of defeating him.

He jumps and Dodges ALOT. His hits will take about 60 Damage off you and hisbit beast special is devastating (taking about 600 RPM). Since he's thehardest opponent thus far you need to take care with the battle. When yousee that hes about to attack, use a jump. You can tell when he's aboutto attack because it'll make a small sound, he'll flare red and bashagainst the wall before hitting you. Time your jump so you don't get hit.

If you keep jumping his attacks and using Red Attack + the UP-Down-A comboand your bit beast, you should finish him in less then 5 minutes.

The Locker over to the left holds the Plastic Launcher, above that isbeyblade on the floor. You can change into your swimming clothes at thetop right locker. Before you head out you can have a beyblade battle withthe guy pacing around.

NoteII:Also, I didn't do this until later, but you could win 2 of 3 timeseach battle in the tournament and still end up victorious. There's no way that I know of to repairtheir beyblade. So playing them least as possible may be essential tila repair method is found.

Miguels pretty easy. I noticed with my Dragoon V2 that my damage decreasedby about 10% compared to Hayate. This occurred because Hayate has experienceand Dragoon V2 doesn't. I think the formula might be close to something like,10 XP = 1% Damage increase. So if your beyblade has 1000 XP it's damageincrease is twice that of one with same stats and 0 XP.

He's extremely weak compared to Kenny, with only 3000 RPM while Kenny has7500. This battle shouldn't be a problem. Afterwards, Tyson will battle itout with Kai. This time Kai has 10,000 RPM against Tyson's 13,000. Since theRPM difference is so big you don't even really need to watch the battle.You could make peanut butter sandwiches while pressing A and still win.Now it's Kenny's turn on the plate.

After the round, Mr.Dickenson calls both Tyson and Kai up and says theyboth deserve the championship because it's the best beyblading he's everseen. Tyson and Kai say thankyou and Kai says he's in it for the spiritof the comp, and he'll be seeing Tyson around. Mr.Dickenson Officiallydeclares the BBA Revolution the winners. After a short conversation Daichi starts yelling he's the world champion,and Tyson corrects him saying that the team is world champion. Daichistill wants his battle. A.) I have it explained in my faq (00b3) in the battle controls, butI guess I'll put it here. It DOES work. Only once per battle, and yourbeyblade must equip the part "Engine Gear". Engine gear is obtained bysearching your room for the beyblade parts when you first start thegame! It's also in the following blades - Dragoon Galaxy Turbo, DranzerG, Thunder Pegasus and Wyvern DJ. Press A+B together to get this to work.You'll know it worked when your beyblade goes on fire for a moment andyou'll watch that it will give your RPM a helpful boost if it looks like

A.)Good point. While I was playing the game myself I kept thinking "I wonderwhen I can open these damn doors!" But then I totally forgot about them tilyou mentioned them to me just now. There's no way to open that I am awareof, I've scoured 99% of the game and nudda! That's why I asked people tosend any secrets they found. Those doors might be one of the secrets, butthen again.. probably not. You can never tell with games. It could besomething bizarre like "beat the tournament 100 times and you get a "Secret"beyblade and all the keys to the locked doors! A.)Wow, there's nothing I can say rather then "read the ripcord & battlingstrategy". Please TRY to get 100%/100% or things will be very difficult foryou. Getting something like 80% 60% results in your RPM being very low.Battling everyone I've said in my faq from start to finish should give

you enough experience and level up to make it easy throughout the game.If problems are still persisting, try asking a friend to help and seeif they can fix it for you.
