Beto Najera On-Air Talent / Host “Uforia Nation” Bio Beto Najera has been a DJ in the city of Houston for more than 15 years. Throughout his career he has worked in formats ranging from Regional Mexican to Spanish-language pop. He has also been apopular host of different day-parts including evenings and morning drive, where he quickly rose to become the number one show in his market. He recently joined Univision Radio in Houston where in less than a month he was able to lead his show to a leadership position. Beto is well known for his humor and sarcasm, traits he has used to get an original angle on his interviews to celebrities. Some of these interviews include Adal Ramones and his controversial separation, Ricky Martin on his sexual preference, Oscar de la Hoya on his addictions, Chicharito Hernandez on his differences with Vasco Aguirre, Eduardo Garcia, Demián Bichir, Juanes, Maná, Sofía Vergara, and numerous politicians and opinion leaders in Texas over the last decade. Beto has taken advantage of his popularity to help organizations such as the American Red Cross, Texas Children’s Hospital and different consulates. He has been able to help in the aftermath of disasters such as the floods in Veracruz and Tabasco, raising more than $70,000 in one afternoon. For two years in a row, Beto has also raised almost $1 million to help low income families of patients being treated at the Texas Children’s Hospital. In 2010, Beto organized a food drive to benefit the victims of Hurricane Alex in northern Mexico.
