Summer Entertainment Series We’re taking a break on the Lunch & Learn programs for

the summer months and offering a new Summer

Entertainment Series. This is an opportunity to get out of

the heat of the summer, relax and enjoy a lecture or

entertainment. All programs are free & begin at noon.

GERMANY (2020) The Oberammergau Passion Play is

performed in an open-air stage in the Bavarian town of

Oberammergau, Germany. The Passion Play is

performed every 10 years. This will be the 42nd

production of the world renowned Play .Oberammergau is a

town located approximately 60 miles from Munich. The town

is beautiful, surrounded by majestic

mountains and picturesque meadows. The village is known

for woodcarving. There are dozens of woodcarver shops. The

town is also famous for its Bavarian themes painted along

side many of the homes and buildings.

SENIOR LEAGUE

Starting in the Fall. Pickleball is the new sport for seniors (and every-

one else!) that has taken off in the country! A

certified trainer will instruct you how to play. The rules are simple and the game is easy to learn for beginners, but can easily develop into a quick, fast-paced, competitive game for experienced players. Please call the Senior Center for more

information. The league will begin in the Fall.

Offered every other Monday. Massages are by appointments only. A fee is charged. Movie Matinee on Mondays; - Best deal in town...free movies and popcorn/candy available for sale. We have a very patient teacher who is encouraging and she makes it all seem so easy. $60/4 weeks. The private lesson is 30 minutes on Fridays. Pokeno - Tues., 1 pm, Positive You - This class focuses on positive self image and learning techniques to improve your mind, body, and spirit. Relaxation and motivation skills will be presented and demonstrated. An interactive, feel-good program. Seasonal. Quilting-Thurs. at 1 pm. Members meet to work on a seasonal quilt as well as a Quilt of Valor for our Veterans. Reikki - Tuesdays from 10 - 12 noon. $25./ 30 min. Please call the office for an appointment. Scrapbooking - The art of taking photographs and embellishing them in an album using phrases, quotes, and decorative art. Frames, clip art, die cuts, and stories are used to embellish the photos. A wonderful trendy craft that makes a great gift or keepsake. No experience necessary. Bring your photographs and a 12" x 12" album. $2.00.Wed. 9 am - 12 noon. Tai Chi-Tai Chi, is a mind-body practice in

complementary & alternative medicine. Many

people practice tai-chi to improve their health

Is The Department of Homeland Security Really Calling You? Scammers posing as government agents are using a Department of Homeland Security

phone line to steal personal information from Americans across the United States. These scammers alter caller ID systems on your Home Phone and your Cell Phone to make

it seem as though the call is coming from the Department of Homeland Security (DHS). The scammers, claiming to be employees with U.S. immigration, demand personal information through

various methods, such as telling those on the receiving end they are victims of identity theft. The Department of Homeland Security (DHS) never uses its Hotline number to make outgoing calls—the phone line is only used to receive information from the public."

The agency warned Americans against providing personal information to people purporting to be calling from the DHS OIG hotline, but noted that the line remains "perfectly safe" to re-
