Baked instead of fried, our pumpkin spice doughnuts are made with a hint of molasses and fragrant cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, and clove. YOU’LL NEED OUR SIGNATURE RECIPE FOR Add 1/4 cup of diced crystallized ginger, mini chips, or chopped nuts to the batter. The doughnuts should not brown on top. 5 COOL in pan for several minutes. Serve plain; or dip in glaze, or non-melting sugar; as desired. Stir together 1 cup sifted confectioners’ sugar, a pinch of salt, and about 1/4 cup maple syrup. Add extra maple syrup or confectioners' sugar to make a spreadable glaze.
