This year the recipient of Best Damn RAT award is clearly obvious. My RAT is not only the most talented, but the most dedicated, and hardworking. My RAT is none other than*drum roll*

And CLEARLY the best looking!

Haley is the perfect example that you do not have to be a wind player to be a damn good RAT! She is in tune with all the band traditions and of course has a RAT cap.

Haley has been twirling ever since she was a little girl. She has twirled and danced on competitive teams as well. She was the only twirler at her high school, Woodstock, and I predict a GT Feature Twirler spot in her future :)

Best damn RATHaley takes Georgia Tech Football very seriously!

Haley is a very friendly and outgoing girl. She makes an effort to talk to not only those in the auxiliary, but wind players as well. She has made friends with many tubas players and can always put a smile on your face with her sweet and funny personality.

Earlier this semester, Haley was involved in a car accident (that was not her fault!) that unfortunately totaled her car. She does not have on-campus housing and was commuting everyday from Canton. Which is farther than even I have to drive. Most RATs would say whatever, Im done, but no, not Haley. The next day her butt on was on MARTA riding to and from Atlanta everyday. If that is not dedication, then I dont know what is.

As you can see, Haley Hook is by far the most awesome, most epic, and best damn RAT there is. She is the perfect example of what a Georgia Tech Band member should be.
