North Shore Halston Pub
While the Halston Pub has been around for years, it is still considered a hidden gem by those who frequent the recently renovated establishment.
The Halston Pub has flourished under the direction of Chef Brian Vlodder, who is known for making some of the best soups in Kamloops.
In his kitchen, everything is made fresh, from the sauces and dressings to the halibut, which he filets and batters or pan fries upon order.
Hungry? Portion sizes are huge — so much so that the menu now boasts half-portions for those who just can’t handle the full plate.
Great, fresh and home-cooked food, served by friendly staff — that’s what you’ll find at the Halston Pub.

Fresh Asian cuisine prepared right before your eyes — that’s what Kamloops’ Wok Box is known for.
There’s something for everyone on the menu at Wok Box, from traditional favorites, like a fresh teri-yaki stir fry, to the meals that will heat up your taste buds, including the
Singapore cashew.
While the goal is always to provide the freshest ingredients possible, the Wok Box is also a healthy choice. Recently, all the sauces were revamped in order to reduce both sodium and fat content.
There are several vegetar-ian options on the menu, as well as vegan and gluten-free selections, so come in, place your order and watch as your meal is prepared in the dynamic, open concept kitchen.
