Jawad is an extraordinarily talent guitarist with emphasis on Jazz with a history. His mellow vocals can soothe any soul. Jawad also is a speaker with a program on the history of the banjo from Africa to the American South. An historical musical journey.

Egyptian Dervish Dance- this solo artist is the only performer in the US of traditional and updated Dervish style dance. This is a mesmerizing performance with audience participation. The artist makes balancing the heavy skirts and drums easy and elegant.





Electronica Zimbabwean Group This amazing group plays traditional Zimbabwe music as well as electronica mash-up versions. Fantastic instruments, including a giant bass marimba. (master classes available)

West African Drumming and Dance Show- in the style of Mali and New Guinea. With Q&A and audience participation. This can be done in conjunction with our drum circle between shows.





Origami Workshop This hands-on experience is trip into Japan and China with simple, but beautiful designs for guests to learn. This can be set-up informally with students dropping by for a few minutes, to a focused workshop. The program is designed by an award-winning artist and craftsman.

Indonesian Shadow puppetry- covers the scope of Chinese & Indonesian fables, through a shadow puppet show. He can also do workshops of making shadow puppets or manipulating the puppets (about 30 people at a time in the workshop).The artist has traveled all over the world, but in Asia specifically; he knows a lot about the culture and myths through story telling. His style is updated for modern audiences. (indoor event)

Henna Artists- Middle Eastern, Indian, and contemporary styles. Henna now comes in colors that are washable, as well as traditional stain henna that lasts up to 2 weeks. DIY workshops also available.
