Le Valvole di sfioro, identificate dalla lettera R posta accanto al numero identificante il modello, si caratterizzano come accessori (dispositivi) a pressione aventi funzione di servizio. I materiali di costruzione, le dimensioni ed i limiti di utilizzo secondo il rapporto pressione/temperatura delle valvole di sfioro, sono gli stessi validi per le valvole di sicurezza della Serie 240.
