A Let me explain. I had to come to Miami; when

· he was arrested on the 17th of June, I was here a t the time.

I went to vis i t him about -- I can t recal l exactly; those

were hectic days -- the 23rd, 24th, maybe, during that week,

and they had no lawyer, nobody took care of them. McCord

was the only o n ~ somebody did take care of him, and he was

out on bai l . The other four men were completely abandoned,

so, what I did, i came to Miami, and Mr. Gladwell (phonetic) ,

Never mind. You have friends and I have a friend who has

given me money to give to the families of the four people

in the case, i f you get any emergencies or anything. This

us, and I also told him that I had to c.ome home, because I

real ly was imposing on my daughter. She l ives there, and I

didn ' t have too much money, and he gave me another $1,000.
