DutiesandResponsibilities:

Provideaudiorecording,editingandmixingserviceswithinastateoftheartmusicrecordingandpostproductionfacility,wherethemainconsoleistheAvid/EuphonixSystem5.

WorkwithChiefEngineertoperformregularandongoingroutinetechnicalmaintenanceandrepairstoaudio/visualsystemsinthestudios,technologylabsandrehearsalfacilities.

Participateinlargescaleinstallationsandupgradessuchasconsolereplacements,majorplatformupgrades,andbringingnewfacilitiesonline.

Provideaudiomixing,recordingandtechnicalsupportforliveeventswhichincludealargerangeofacousticandelectricinstrumentation.

Teachcoursesatthegraduateand/orundergraduatelevelandcompletealldutiesexpectedoffacultywithregardstotheclassestaught.

Maintainanoverallhighlevelofprofessionalrealworldstandardsastheypertaintopracticesandworkethicwithinstudiooperations.

Assistinimplementingandmaintainingfairandeffectivepoliciesandprocedurestoensurethesmoothoperationofthestudiofacilities.

Provideinputonpurchasingdecisionsfortherecordingfacilitiesbasedonindustryexpertise,experienceandprofessionalconnections.

Cubase)andotherrelevantsoftwareandhardware. Masteryofanalogaudiosystems(wiring,installation,andoperation) Masteryofdigitalandanalogconsoles.TechnicalexperienceandfamiliaritywithAvid

System5consoleaplus. Masteryofdigitalvideosystemsandexperiencewithprofessionallevelcameras,mixers,
