Industry

Ethylene Oxide Gas sterilization, also known as EO or EtO, is a

sterilization process that can be used across a variety of industries,

including the medical industry. The gas has been used to sterilize items

since the 1940s and improvements to the EtO sterilization process has

kept it as a top choice for manufacturers.

One of the biggest benefits of EtO sterilization to the medical industry is that it can sterilize heat or moisture sensitive materials such as medical gauze, pharmaceuticals and some materials to be used in medical devices.
