Excellence sought,solution foundWhen manufacturing slit tubes and hollow sections (tailored tubes)with customized dimensions, cross-sectional shapes and specificmechanical properties for lightweight design concepts, the rightshape is crucial. Even the slightest deviations can make the difference between increasing production or rejection.

FISCHER-high-speed presses are developed solely on the basis of individual specifications. In this example, the main focus was placed in the repeat accuracy of the working stroke and the machine stiffness. Incremental shape bending or bending in UO process can be freely selected.

Here is how we get your project rollingThis four-sided press was created in close cooperation withThyssenKrupp Steel. It is used for the manufacture of straightor curved hollow steel profiles with variable tube sections in diameter and shape which can have additional variant elements. With 14 hydraulic axes for moulding blanks and 5 motorized axes for laser welding of the slit tube and for seam tracking, this exemplary special solution ensures the customer's need for precision will be met – a challenge wemeet with every new job.

Since the system is used to test the widest possible variety ofshaping parameters, all axes are freely programmable. Thespecial feature: thanks to the elimination of typical processsteps, this complete system works with maximum efficiency.The T3 trueing also opens up new possibilities for mouldingparts and makes production and structural processes possiblewhich could not have been done before.

A wide spectrum of versatile application areasFISCHER wide table presses have a wider table and ram beam.They are superbly suited as cutting presses, for which tools that are not carried on the column can also be used – for perforating, stamping, and the complete reforming of large-surfaced parts with one tool or with follow-on tools. Thanks to the C-shaped machine column, they have a great flexibility since they are accessible from three sides. The wide table presses are protected against overloading with a hydraulicoverloading protection.

Individual requirements can be addressed directly by additionalmodules and accessories: die cushions in the table and ejectors in the ram beam are available.
