Rees Beats !!Exclusive Interview ; )This Week R-sound caught up with Birming-hams best unnderground producer Rees Beats for an exclusive interview to get an insight on his music and his opinions.

Q.When Did You First StartMaking Music ?A.” Pssh quiete a while ago i think it was probably in summer 2007 “

Q. How Did You Start Producing Music ?A. “A friend introduced me to fruity loops 6 and i soon became familiar with the software”.

Q. What is your preffered genre to produce ?A. “ Hmm thats a tough question but id probably have to say erm...erm..moretime dubstep ”

Q.Why Dubstep ?A. Laughs “ Dubstep is the ting manand simply because i love bass “

Q. How many beats do youcreate in a weekA. Well i suppose when i get home from collegeafter a hard day i chill study a bit more then start or continue on a project so i end up making about2 high grade bangers a week.

Q. How do you distibute your music ?A. “ I sell my exclusive beats to mc’s and most of the other stuff I just put up for

download on soundcloud or sendspace “

What would you say to up and coming producers ?“ Pssh keep at it because its a long learning curve but remem-ber patience is progress “

Q. Most producers these days also Dj/Mix. Do You ?A. “ No. But i would like to try it. Its just a matter of somene teaching me and getting some decent decks. “

Q. You are most well known for your grime beats. Who would you say is the best grime artist lyric wise ?A. “There are alot of big mc’s in the game right now a few staying underground some going commercial but for me its, most defi natly Ghetto “

Q. Did he smash P-MoneyA. “ Wow it was close but from Ghetts...ha ha it was murkage im telling you “

Q. What can we expect from you in the coming year.A. “ You can expect more banging beats thats for sure. Also im working on several mixtapes and several commercial projects with good up and coming artists from across the country”

Q. Finaly Will we ever see you producing commercial stuff ?

A. “Most likely yes because thats wher the moneys at “

For those of you that didnt know:“Ress beats” is a 17 year old music producer from Bir-mingham, Uk. Rees Beats produces several genres such as Grime, Bassline, Dubstep and Funky Housealthough grime is his special-ist area. Rees Beats has beenblowing up the grime sceneas most of the beats bieng used by grime mc’s in the UK these days are produced by Rees beats himself. Rees beats grew up in Handsworth in Birmingham and from young he had a passion for music as he learned to play several instruments in school such as the piano , guitar and recorder.
