This is meant as a way to assist in the selection of the correct belt cleaner or belt cleaner system.Thecompleteguide,titled"ClassificationofapplicationsforBulkMaterialConveyorBeltCleaning," orCEMAStandard576,isavailablefromCEMA.

Theclassificationisbuiltonapointssystembasedonfivekeycriteria.WhileothersplayaroleasnotedonPage6,thesefivewerechosenasthekeyelementsinselectingtheappropriatecleanerorcleaningsystem.Thefivecriteriaare:
