It's very important for members to attend Aerie meetings (Usually the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month) (see calendar for changes this month) to help with on-going decisions we are making for our future as an Aerie. Let’s all get at least one new member this year.

Aerie /Auxiliary enrollment fees are waved for November and December. (See Membership News below). Reminder: Veterans, Police Firefghters, and other first responders receive their first year membership free. Ask about the FO.E. Memorial Fund, what it can do for your family.

Tim Phelan organized a fundraiser for John and Donna Rush in order to help them with costs related to John’s accident--this was a huge success. Thank you to everyone who made it happen. This event was not sponsored by our Aerie, but friends and family of John and Donna Rush. Congrats to all. Brothers please support our Aerie as much as you can, and in what capacity you can.

In closing, remember our motto.

IF I CAN NOT SPEAK WELL OF AN EAGLE, I WILL NOT SPEAK ILL OF HIM.

See you around the Eagles. Fraternally, David Hodges

Dear Sisters-

Although I was unable to attend, I would again like to thank all of our Charter Members for their presence at the assembly for recognition. You are our beloved founders and we hope to keep your pride and faith at our FOE.

How exciting was the first win of the season for the Huskers!! Join us for our tailgate parties. Thank you to our trustees for setting up the big screen, it brings us closer together to share good times and good food!

We have exciting news for November. Our Nebraska State Presidents will be here for their official visit. Plan to have steak dinner with them on Nov 9th, followed by karaoke. Thank you to everyone who contributed to the 50/50 raffle~~proceeds will be given to the State Charity Exoskeleton System.

Our Women's Group is growing! Our guest speakers are so informative. Please ladies, plan to join us at our next meeting, Dec 2nd. We have such a wonderful sisterhood and I'm so proud to be a part of it! Happy Thanksgiving! P. S. Thank you to the "deck fairy" who tidies

up!! I see you APRIL FRAZIER Madam President

Can you, no, will you help provide food for the needy? The Auxiliary is asking members to share their good will with the many people in the Bellevue and surrounding community who need a helping hand, especially food on the table for their families. Our drive will begin Nov 1st and last the entire month.

I visited the Pantry recently and was amazed at the shelves and shelves of various foods, with many shelves completely bare. For instance, lots of peanut butter but no jelly. Drop off items at the Aerie all month.

Check out the items on our flyers and BE AS GENEROUS AS YOU CAN! For info, call Jo, 291-2558.

SERIOUSLY ,HOW DOES THE AERIE DO IT?

MEMBERSHIP NEWS Aerie/Auxiliary Enrollment Fees waived – November & December

Now is the time to sign up a new member, or someone who let their membership lapse! During the months of November and December, the Aerie & Auxiliary are waiving enrollment fees. The new or re-enrolled applicant only needs to pay the membership dues to May 2019, or May 2020. Cost to join during November:

Aerie - $18.00 to May 2019, $54.00 to May 2020

Auxiliary - $12.50 to May 2019, $37.50 to May 2020

After that, Aerie dues are $36 a year. Auxiliary dues are $25 per year.
