Young Ntombi Baloyi from Nkowankowa was recently crowned as Miss Mzantsi Africa RoleModel 2014 at the Bay Hotel in Cape Town. The 22 year-old started her modelling career when she was only fourteen years old. She said her life journey hasn’t been a smooth one.

A 13 year-old juvenile delinquent with an “impressive” crime record seems to be the pivot in the series of housebreakings and theft affecting the suburbs of Aqua Park and Arbor Park over the past two weeks.

The police are in hot pursuit of the boy, only known as Nyiko, who is on parole after serving time in a rehabilitation centre for car theft and 28 burglaries since he was 12 years old.

He is said to be small in stature and can maneuver himself through most burglar bars with ease. He concentrates on laptops, cameras and cell phones. He is suspected of at least nine burglaries in Aqua Park over the past ten days.

According to Mr Marius Jacobs of Northern Security several burglaries were reported at the Silver Palms Lodge, Valencia Estates and other premises in Aqua Park last weekend. It is

suspected that “tiny Nyiko” and his assistants might have been involved in most of these burglaries.

Jacobs said a juvenile on parole makes it difficult to identify the culprit, as they are not allowed to use photo’s or full names to trace him. He warned people that the boy usually approaches a residence, humbly asking for help. After scrutinizing the environment, he leaves and returns at night to “harvest”.

He booked in at the Elephant Tusk Lodge for three nights and disappeared afterwards, leaving a trail of burglaries behind.

Jacobs advised people to keep their windows and curtains closed at night. The pilot lights of computers and other electronic equipment should be faded out, as they are easily spotted by the wrong passersby.

Unfinished RDP house collapses

Child thief shock

The Selowa family of Satlaleng, Bolobedu, in the jurisdiction of the Great-er Letaba Municipality (GLM) accused the GLM of failing to complete their RDP house. The construction of the RDP houses started more than ten years ago, but it was not completed as the contractor allegedly van-ished after he was paid before completing their house. After the heavy rains this pile of rubble is all that remained of their semi-complete home.

Molebatsi Masedi Great idea. More time for pupils at the formative stages of schooling. The laying of

a solid foundation for formal schooling.Katrien Van Vreden  Lawwegeid!

Michelle Ristow  Your child has to go to Gr R so they are already at school for 13 years. Instead

of increasing the number of years a child spends at

school the teachers should be given more support. More schools should be built and classes should be smaller. No teacher can cope with the number of kids in a class in government schools

Ronaldo Caroto  Asb nie.. 12 jaar is (was) erg genoeg!

That’s life!

Sheenaugh-lee Thompson  14 years are they mentally insane! Ag nee rerig dis regtig pateties

verby! Get educated teachers and ones who dont strike and you wouldnt have to put this rubbish on the kids!!

Elna Helberg Van Loggerenberg  Dit gaan niks help nie . As ‘n kind nie wil skoolgaan nie gaan

• Government is considering increasing the school term to 14 years. What are your thoughts?

lewe? Hoekom in elk geval enigsins trou?

Vlieg was baie geïnspireerd deur die woorde van die Sherlock Holmes-karakter in die Towerkanaal se Elementêre storie: “Then there is the elaborate ruse of marriage. An unnatural arrangement which forces its participants into an unhealthy monogamy. An accretion of petty fights and resentful compromises which, like Chinese water torture, slowly transforms both parties into howling, neurotic versions of their former selves.”Lank sal hy lewe, al lyk hy vir Vlieg so ‘n bietjie na tant Koek se hoenderhaan!

In sy glorie, ja, in sy glorie, ja!

Vlieg

AFFORDABLE HIGH QUALITY IMPORTED LINEN

Police awaits release of cousin to help in child

missing case

Limpopo’s Police Commissioner, Lt Gen Fanie Masemola, said they are waiting for the release of 12 year-old Khensani Mathebula, before they can continue with the search for the missing 5 year-old Matimu

Mathebula. Khensani was taken into protective custody after allegations that her family abused her. Masemola said she is still traumatised after the alleged abuse and disappearance of Matimu. “We don’t want to pressure her for information now. We have to wait until the doctor discharges her

and gives us the go-ahead to speak to her.”Khensani is in hospital under the care of social workers. It is still unclear as to why she was apparently beaten to a point that she needed medical care. It is assumed that the family wanted to obtain information from her regarding the disappearance of Matimu. They allege the injuries she sustained were because she fell when she was in search of her cousin.

Mathebula, the father of the lost boy, and Provincial Police Commissioner Masemola met before a meeting to discuss the disappearance of his son.

The MEC for Roads and Transport, Mr Lehlogonolo Masoga, has learnt with shock about the inaccurate and misleading Road Agency Limpopo (RAL) 2012/13 Annual Re-port presented to the provincial Legislature.

The MEC received a complaint from the Au-ditor General’s office about the report which contains information contrary to the one pre-pared by the AG’s office, which could amount to misrepresentation and/or fraud. RAL pub-lished an unqualified audit opinion report yet the AG has issued a disclaimer of opinion.

Upon learning of the Report, Masoga has since notified the Speaker of the Legislature, sanctioned the withdrawal of the report, re-called all printed copies, instituted measures to conduct a forensic investigation and met with the AG’s office to appraise them on the steps being taken to deal with the matter. “We wish to apologise to the office of the AG, Legis-lature and the people of Limpopo for this em-barrassment. We will leave no stone unturned in dealing with unethical and fraudulent ten-dencies within our ranks”, said Masoga.

“As a department we wish to assure the public that we remain resolute in preserving the integrity and good image of our provin-cial administration by fighting and uprooting maladministration and corruption.”

Ons Mening The Message

Wow we have almost come to the end of the first month in January, to all intents and pur-poses it seems to have been a rather a quiet pe-riod, but dig deeper and the worms come out. The media love a story and especially if the church is involved. Take for instance the media coverage behind the pastor from some church who made his folk eat grass or the constant sexual harassment of children in the Catholic Church, although I do not condone this action, why do people paint the whole religious com-munity with the same brush? There are those who do what God has called them to do and obey His Laws, but never-the-less the whole Christian church is seen as to be bad. I agree that we as God-fearing people must stamp out these practices but it is not necessary to place the blame on the entire Church. We need to pray that God will intervene in these people’s lives and root out all evil.

Do not refrain from going to church just be-cause of one or two who are not up to stand-ard, who are sinners of the worst kind. Jesus commanded us to pray for all. He and God are the judges and these people will in the end have to answer to Them, just as we all will have to answer for our mistakes.

Listen to what Jesus says: “A new command-ment I give you: that you love one another just as I have loved you”

So think twice and get the true story behind each incident before you judge.

Tzn support group gets training“People who are unemployed, feel desperate and

stressed about not earning an income”, says Connie from Tzaneen, one of the South African Depression and Anxiety Group’s (SADAG) support group lead-ers. “This depression and pain tempts them to take drugs to take away the pain.”

In Limpopo, like in many regions of the country, un-employment and substance abuse are closely linked. “People often don’t recognise the signs of depression or try to self-medicate stress with alcohol or drugs”, warns SADAG. And the cycle becomes a vicious one — having no hope for a brighter future, trying to get through one day at a time, and falling into addiction. Sadly, many people who turn to substances to cope with financial or employment stress, lose their jobs as a result of their addiction; causing greater stress.

According to the Central Drug Authority (CDA), over R3,5 billion is spent annually by South Africans to purchase dagga — a lot of money for people with no income. Dagga (marijuana) is a very misunder-stood substance — many people think it is a ‘natural weed’ and that it is harmless. But use of dagga can result in changes in personality, excessive aggres-sion, fear and distrust. According to Another Chance to Change Rehabilitation Centre, marijuana is more destructive to the brain than any other drug.

There has been a call to communities to act on grass-roots level and do something tangible at community

level to positively impact communities in need. SAD-AG’s Support Group programme is such a project. It’s often hard for sufferers and their loved ones to discuss substance abuse issues or get support. In dis-advantaged areas, where unemployment is high, in-formation, resources and treatment is often severely lacking.

By training community members to start and run Support Groups, places of hope and help are created and sustained. “Dagga is a big problem in my com-munity”, says Connie. “I wanted to help and share accurate information about what it is, what it does and how to stay clean with community members. If people have the right information about the dangers of addiction and are able to get support in a non-judgemental way, there is still hope.”

“Just knowing that there are many other addicts who want help is important”, says Connie. “It gives hope and shows people that there’s nothing to be ashamed of.”

Sadly families don’t always support their loved one’s substances abuse because of anger, stigma and mis-understanding. Addicts are often blamed or turned on and don’t have the support or understanding to get clean or stay clean. “Most of my members rely on the support group because they are either rejected or judged by their families”, says Connie. Her group’s members are desperate to get out of the cycle of addic-tion and are grateful for any information, support and help that can help them do that.

A group of people, who meet regularly, who share a common issue, and have committed to help-ing each other and themselves achieve their goals through sharing experiencing, advice and support is powerful. Connie hopes that through empower-ing of the group, the effects are duplicated on their friends, neighbours and families and that there is a generally new idea about substance and how to stay sober. Connie is working hard to gain the trust and support of local clinics, social workers, schools and police in the area.

SADAG has over two hundred Support Groups working across the country and is running workshops to train com-munity members to start more groups. The reality is that many South Africans don’t have access to treatment or spe-cialist clinics, many are isolated and alone, but through these

groups, all people have access to information, answers, and help.Get in touch with a Support Group — or start your own — by calling SADAG on 0800 12 13 14

or 0800 21 22 23. “In my community, like in many others, we need each other to get information and help. Thank you to SADAG for the invaluable help and support,” Connie said.

Top 5 Benefits of being in a support group1. A safe, confidential forum for sharing concerns and

challenges.2. A regular source of inspiration and motivation as

you witness your fellow members’ achievements and they support and encourage yours so you don’t feel you are “doing it alone”.

3. The opportunity to brainstorm ideas and receive useful feedback and access to other people’s experi-ences and learning.

4. A structure in the group will help you set and keep track of your goals.

5. Lofts of new professional relationships and personal friendships.

6. Helps you realise that you are not alone and that there are people who understand what you are going through.

7. Helps you take control of the problems you are experiencing.

Mike and Monica Amm, both 80, have been living at Mac-adamia Retirement Village in Tzaneen for just over a year. They bought a house with Tzaneen Dam frontage and an indigenous bird park in between.

The garden was nonexistent but because of Monica’s gar-dening expertise and Mike’s Em-Extend, the garden, which includes a vegetable garden, is fully established.

Em-Extend, a Japanese invention, is a fermented prod-uct consisting of beneficial micro-organisms. This organic fertiliser and compost softens the soil and improves plant growth and crop production. ZZ2 is the biggest user of Em-Extend in the world. Mike buys the concentrate from the Pretoria depot and dilutes it with molasses and other beneficial agents. Em-Extend is light brown in colour and has a beery, yeasty smell. Mike sells it at R20/litre.

Their vegetable garden is thriving despite the presence of vervet monkeys at Macadamia. Monica says: “The monkeys haven’t raided our vegetable patch yet. However, when they do, we’ll device a scare tactic of some kind. We respect the vervet monkeys and do not feed them.”

Mike grew up in Mokopane and moved to the Tzaneen area when he married home grown Monica. Monica’s grandfather, Bill Tooley, was the first citrus farmer in the area and started Kings Walden in Agatha. The Amms farmed in the Letsitele Valley on Murlebrook Farms for 47 years. They grew many things including cotton, which was unsuccessful. The eventual success lay in orchards of Sensa-tion fibreless mangoes and bananas. They had a huge high-tech pack house and exported the fruit.

Murlebrook Farms was the first to be land claimed in the district. “Negotiations were amicable and we were paid in full,” says Mon-ica. The couple then found land at the top of

Agatha and went the organic route with grana-dillas, using Em-Extend. They hung up their farming boots to retire to Macadamia.

The couple now devote their time to their other passions and are keen dendrologists, twitchers and travellers. Mike has been marking trees for years and is seen driving around Macadamia on his red Yamaha with his lug box of labels, wires and tools. His other current marking project is at Uni-corn Primary School. He says “the labels were getting ex-pensive to produce. Fortunately I’ve now found reasonable printers in Tzaneen.”

Mike was also co-author of the definitive book Trees and Shrubs of Mpumalanga and the Kruger National Park. The 700 page book, published by Jacana, took five years to research. Mike says “I’d get together with co-authors Ernst Schmidt, Mervyn Lötter, Warren McCleland, and John Burrows and we’d go through all slides (yes, they were slides in those days) and chose only the best for the book. The book is into its second edition.”

Mike recalls how they got into dendrology. “The late well-known Peter Williams introduced us to the Chief of Forestry in Pretoria, Fried von Breitenbach, who started the Dendro-logical Society in South Africa. Fried and his wife Juta took us everywhere to identify trees. Fried brought indigenous trees to the ordinary man. The Dendrological Society head-quarters are in the UK. I was made an honorary member of the German Dendrological Society and was given a copper commemorative coin.”

The Eco Club has replaced the Dendrological Society in the Tzaneen area. Headed up by Paul Zaayman, it covers a broad field that includes birding, tree outings, places of natural or historic significance and many other field excur-sions.

Mike’s other interest is furniture making and he’s made some stunning pieces of furniture out of Matumi wood. Monica designed the gardens at the Coach House and managed them for eighteen years. Together with Patricia Baragwanath form Haenertsburg she worked in the Magoebaskloof Hotel gardens.

When asked what their greatest achievement was, Mike and Monica said that having five daughters was a blessing; but their greatest achievement was that all five are highly successful.

Today the Bulletin introduces Mike and Monica Amm to our readers. Sue Ettmayr interviewed the couple for the second part of our new exclusive series, introducing our area’s senior

citizens and their contributions to Limpopo’s Lowveld.

Escape to Earth Spa

Do you ever wake up with a sticky dis-charge on your eye-lashes? Red, itchy eyes? It’s possible that you have con-

junctivitis, or “pink-eye”. What Causes Conjunc-

tivitis?Conjunctivitis has a num-

ber of different causes, in-cluding bacteria, viruses, allergies and irritants such as dirt, shampoos and chlorine in swimming pools.

Although it is not a seri-ous health risk, conjunc-tivitis caused by some bacteria and viruses is contagious and spreads

easily.How can you

Prevent Spreading Conjunctivitis?

Avoid touching or rubbing the eyes.

Wash your hands often with soap and warm water.

Wear glasses instead of contact lenses.

Clean contact lenses and cases thoroughly, or throw away disposable lenses.

If your child has bacte-rial or viral conjunctivitis,

keep him home from school until the symptoms have been resolved.

Although it is not a se-rious health problem, it is important to treat con-junctivitis as soon as pos-sible, so consult your Op-tometrist or Doctor.

There are plenty of detox drinks available and are easy to prepare. Besides water, lemon detox and fresh fruit and vegetable juices, green are some of the

detox drinks that work.

Tesla credits the “exceptional cold-weather performance” of its Model S for 20 percent-higher-than-expected Q4 sales of 6 900 units, bringing total Model S sales worldwide to 25 000 so far.

In fact, Tesla says its sedan does so well in the snow that the rear wheels are the only ones that need any torque.

“This car performs outstandingly in winter conditions,” said Tesla VP of vehicle engineering Chris Porritt in a video released the day of the Detroit auto show. “In fact, all wheel-drive is not required at all.”

Porritt points to the electric motor’s low inertia compared to an internal combustion engine, which allows the car’s traction control to react quickly.

To that end, Tesla announced that installation of Superchargers in select areas of Canada will be coming “soon.” There are approximately 80 Tesla Superchargers in place in America right now.

2014 Monte Carlo Rally: Sébastien Ogier and Julien Ingrassia took receipt of the coveted winners’ trophy outside of the Prince’s palace in Monte Carlo. It marks the first ‘Monte’

triumph for the Volkswagen Motorsport team. The two Volkswagen drivers have got

through a season opener that was anything but easy.

Sébastian Ogier and Julien got off to a difficult start, but knuckled down and contended with three days of rain, snow and ice to claw their way up to the top of the leader board –

thereby impressively demonstrating that they are the rightful holders of the world championship titles. Runners-up were Bryan Bouffier and Xavier

Panseri, and Kris Meeke and his co-driver Pilot Paul Nagle, finished in third place.

Source: www.volkswagen-motorsport.com

According to an old saying in the world of sport, making it to the top is comparatively easy, but staying there is a lot more difficult. Volkswagen faces an especially difficult year in the World Rally Championship endeavouring to defend no less than three titles – champion manufacturer, driver and co-driver.

Rare Vehicles: Uhlenhaut 300 SLR CoupeIt’s not an SL; it’s a 300 SLR—the same car that won the 1955 Mille Miglia—built into what our racing director Rudi Uhlenhaut called “a hot-heeled touring car.” In fact, it was built for his own personal use. Rumor has it that it cut Uhlenhaut’s two-and-a-half hour commute from Munich to Stuttgart down to an hour. This model is one of one.

C-Eeing is believing...When the 190 was first presented in December 1982, it didn’t look particularly revolutionary. Yet the Mercedes-Benz mid-size sedan, known within the company as the “compact class” and positioned below the E-Class, S-Class and SL-Class, became a milestone for the future development of the Mercedes-Benz model portfolio.

With its clearly defined wedge shape and finely chiseled light-catching contours, there was nothing reticent about the new model series, proudly taking its place in the Mercedes family. The man responsible for the fresh linear design was Bruno Sacco. The 190E

quickly became a major success and role models. As well as providing the basis for subsequent C-Class generations, the 190 sedan, known affectionately as the Baby Benz, also became the first shot in Mercedes-Benz’s product drive. The Mercedes-Benz compact class - or C-Class as it became known as from the subsequent W 202 series, according to the nomenclature introduced at the time - clearly aimed to replicate the virtues of its bigger relations in terms of handling, passive safety and reliability, and economy.

A3 sedan is all grown upThe driver up front will easily recognise the new Audi A3, which is no bad thing. An 11 mm thick screen rises smoothly out of the dash, while the MMI interface, which uses a rotary dial and small number of buttons to control everything from the GPS to music and phone, is excellent once you’ve got the hang of it.

More impressive still is the quality of the fit and finish. This is not only the best interior in the premium compact segment, but one of the best of any mass-produced car. Audi spent a great deal of time, money and marketing on “haptics”, but it really has paid off over the last decade. Indeed, there’s an argument that says for all the whinging motoring journalists do about lack of steering feel, it’s the tactility of the window switches and heater controls that actually sells cars.

It’s the delicious aroma of chickens on a braai that is attracting more and more customers outside the Rose and Dragon pub at the Oasis Mall in Tzaneen on Saturdays. Mr Nelson Barbeiro (39) takes care of the braai as he flavours the Porra Chickens with his special AiKaramba sauces.

It is a treat to watch the care he takes in the preparation and presentation. Customers can order whole chickens, half and quarter but must be prepared to wait about 45 minutes.

The flavours run the gamut from extra mild to extra hot. Barbeiro’s English is a pleasant mix of accents due to his extensive travels. He was born in Canada of Portuguese parents. His father was a welder and his mother was involved in every aspect of sewing. At the age of seven he returned to Portugal with his parents to the family village of Maçᾶo with its 2 000 inhabitants.

Barbeiro’s greatest love has always been food. When travelling he learnt as much as possible about the different cuisines. He says “I like to see people happy with their food. I make all the food from scratch and don’t use any modern implements.

“I like eating with my hands and my Porra Chickens are best when eaten by hand. My favourite international chef is Chacal from Peru. He cooks in some of the best restaurants in the world and I like the way he cooks.

“He always has his family around him when he cooks. In his cookery books, each recipe has a unique and personal Chacal story.”

Barbeiro met his Tzaneen born wife Nicky (35) while they were working in the UK. Barbeiro was a fork lifter and Nicky was doing quality control at the same company.

They returned briefly to Tzaneen to get married in 2004. Both then returned to Barbeiro’s village of Maçᾶo. Nicky stayed two years, learnt a smattering of Portuguese, and then returned to Tzaneen, where she now teaches Accounting at Merensky High School.

Barbeiro remained in Portugal for another five years, but eventually found the restrictions and paperwork s u r r o u n d i n g anything to do with the culinary world overwhelming. The couple did not see each other during that time.

Nicky didn’t even see a photo of him, and they were considering divorce. Barbeiro is not technologically minded so the only form of communication was via a land line. He came out to South Africa more than a year ago and now he and Nicky live happily in Tzaneen.

The Barbeiro couple took part in the Hoedspruit Xmas market in 2012 and were a hit with their AiKaramba sauces, particularly the very hot sauce called Diablo. They began the Porra chicken venture fairly recently, but do yourself a favour and try Barbeiro’s Porra Chicken with chips in a brown paper bag.

The Department of Roads and Transport in Limpopo is endan-gering road users by not proper-ly maintaining Limpopo’s roads. In the last ten months, 2072 ac-cidents occurred throughout the province leading to more than 450 fatalities, the DA in Limpopo says in a statement..

The festive season road death toll was massive this year. Government should clearly be doing everything in its power to make roads safer and more user-friendly.

The problem is that Limpopo’s roads are becoming less safe be-

cause of decaying infrastructure. Many roads are riddled with pot-holes. According to the depart-ment’s monthly reports, many accidents are caused by speeding, reckless driving and tyres that burst due to bad road conditions.

The road conditions on the R555 that links Mpumalanga and Limpopo are especially dan-gerous. The department fails to maintain the road despite it be-ing a major provincial road.

“We want the department to keep the approach of the festive season all year round by deploy-

ing more traffic offi-cials on all the major roads. On top of that, government needs to start maintaining in-frastructure properly. Government is put-ting our people in harm’s way by not properly maintaining road infrastructure. It is dangerous and irresponsible.”

Roads are in a mess

Three donkeys had to be euthanized after their hind legs were almost chopped off by a 32 year-old man in a fit of anger. Mr Sidwell Baloyi from Mavalani, Giyani, who earns on average R600 per monh from doing piece jobs, said he woke up and heard donkeys in his yard.

“I heard them eating my crop and the first thing that came to mind was that I wanted to punish them. I did not think, I only realised later what I had done,” he said.

He has undertaken to replace the three donkeys. He said he was deeply sorry and would ask his brother to help him with money to buy three donkeys at about R1 500 each.

The owner of the donkeys, Mr Joel Malatjie, used the animals as a means to support his family of eight. He said he did not want Baloyi arrested, because it would benefit nobody. “I want him to replace the donkeys, be-cause they are all we have in this family.”

Malatjie used the donkeys to fetch water and firewood for the local community who pays him for the service. “I

have managed to send a child to a driving school with the money I make from the donkeys. I paid R2 000 for his first driving lessons, now I’m not even sure if I will be able to pay the balance,” he said.

Malatjie further said he had an agreement with a lo-cal school to supply firewood for the school’s feeding scheme. He said if he did not find the replacement don-keys soon he might forfeit the deal.

Meanwhile Mr Bennett Chavalala, the SPCA manager in Giyani who euthanized the donkeys to end their suf-fering, said although Malatjie did not want the suspect arrested, the SPCA has opened a case of animal cruelty.

“We also took the suspect to a magistrate where an or-der was given that the suspect should replace the don-keys within two days, since the victim rely entirely on them to make a living,” he said.

Residents of Runnymede outside Tzaneen are fuming after one of the residents blew the whistle on a driving school which oper-ates out of a RDP house. This stuation has sparked tension within the community, es-pecially amongst those who have been wait-ing for years for a RDP house.

One of the residents, who wants to remain anonymous for fear of victimisation, said that “in order to get a RDP house you have to be connected to the right people. We were the first people on the waiting list, but we are surprised to see others are favoured be-

RDP house used for businessfore us. The local leaders have favoured their own friends and relatives.”

One of the instructors of the driving school, who refused to give his name, has refuted any wrong doings and said they are in the business to make money. Mr Samson Maunatlala of the GTM’s housing department said if the driving school was using a RDP house which was built in 1994, there could not be any consequences, because they were not informed of the terms of owning a RDP house. “If the house was al-located to an individual after 2005, there could be consequences.”

“The ward committee has previously met with the ward councillor to give the RDP house to the driving school owner. By that time he was unemployed and he had to make a living. The house belongs to the driving school own-er and there’s nothing wrong when he uses it as a business,” he said.

According to ward councillor Rene Pohl the constitution states that RDP houses are meant for poor people to live in. “The recipients of the RDP houses may not sublet for any busi-ness or any other activity, except to live in.”

“Out! VANNERMERWE is out!” jil die man dit uit.

(*GASK = Grootste Afrikaanse Sondagkoerant) “There is no racial or ethnic domination of hopelessness. It’s everywhere.” — Sidney Poiter

Niekerk; beste junior seunbaanatleet: Noko Malatji; beste senior seunbaanatleet: Jason Moore; beste junior meisieveldatleet: Lily Pohl; beste senior seunveldatleet: Reinhardt Schoonbee; beste senior meisieveldatleet: Melissa Steenkamp.

Junior victor ludorum: Noko Matlatji; junior victrix ludorum: Lily Pohl; senior victor ludorum: Rynard de Lange; senior victrix ludorum: Melissa Steenkamp.

Beste junior meisieveldatleet: Ndavi Nokeri (meisies o.15) hoogspring 1,45 m; beste junior meisiebaanatleet: Lara Schutte (meisies o.15) 400 m 62,63 sek.; beste junior seunveldatleet: Niaan Taljaard (seuns o.14) diskus 42,65

verteenwoordig.
