country and vested with the rights and privileges involved)
Undocumented Immigration
• There are over 11 million undocumented immigrants in the US
• The vast majority of undocumented immigrants entered the US legally, but overstayed their visas
• Undocumented immigrants do not have a social security number, so they cannot work, get a drivers license, get a loan, get financial aid, vote, get federal or state assistance (food stamps; public housing; etc.)
