The image represents the rending of the veil in God’s temple at the death of Christ (see Ex. 26:31-33; Mt. 27:51, Mk. 15:38; Hb. 9:3). There are 66 pieces of steel and copper that represent the number of books of the Bible, along with further symbols of people and events from Scripture. Summer Volunteers Grace Kids is looking for a few men and women to volunteer with infants through kindergarten ministries this summer beginning in June. Our Missions Prayer This Week Pray for Christian Camping International, serving globally. Pray for safety and funding for people who are ministering through camps in Islamic countries. Pray as they seek to engage the next generation with the Gospel in difficult circumstances.

Moon Pie Award The Moon Pie is a traditional southern treat that was a reward for a hard day’s work. At Grace, the Moon Pie represents our appreciation for members of our body who share the riches of God’s grace in the community or in our church body. To the women who served at Mercy Street every week this past year. The team included Jennifer Bryan, Lynn Wilson, Carolyn Switzer, Cheryl Mayborn, Marlene Swindell, Betsy Barrett, Stephanie Russell, Kathleen Gilio, Cara Appleby, Andra Yorstoun and Gail Smith Know someone who deserves a Moon Pie award? We welcome Moon Pie nominations from the congregation!

Camp in the City Camp in the City at Grace is full. Please contact Pine Cove if you would like to be added to the wait list, or to determine other churches in the area hosting Camp in the City this summer.

Camp in the City Volunteers Volunteers are needed for the Camp in the City Follow Up Team serving July 19-21. Grace Moms Group Arboretum Day The Grace Moms and kids will be going to the beautiful Dallas Arboretum on Wednesday, June 11. You can register at the table in The Commons or online at gracemoms.wogsignup.com.

Helps Fund Envelopes In observance of the oneness of the body in the communion celebration, the Helps Fund offering is taken up to aid members of Grace who have temporary financial needs due to unemployment, catastrophic illness or other crises.

Women of Grace Dinner with Amy Kennemur Amy Kennemur is coming to town! Amy led a Wednesday night WOG Bible study group several years ago and is a friend to many of us. Join us for a sandwich dinner from Corner Bakery on Wednesday, June 18 at 6:30 p.m. in A9 (formerly Fellowship Hall West). This will be a great chance to catch up with Amy and get to hear more about what she's doing! This is not a fundraiser, just a fun time with Amy. Register at the desk across from the Welcome Center in The Commons or online at amydinner.wogsignup.com. The suggested donation for dinner is $5.

Bulgaria Pie in the Face Auction & Bake Sale On June 22, you will have the opportunity to support the 2014 Bulgaria team through a good ol’ fashioned pie-in-the-face competition! Go to the Bulgaria table in The Commons and bid on the team member(s) that you would like to see take a pie to the face! This event serves as a way to raise funds for the team as they serve from July 11-20 in Tran, Bulgaria. The eligible contestants are Kevin Goldsmith, Jessi Morris, Joe Fraccaro, Tyler Sharpless, Mikayla Hixon, Daniel Beatty, Jackson Barth, Kenny and Heather (formerly Griggs) Cook, Sam Brown, Nate and Hannah Fontaine and two surprise participants.
