The attached map illustrates the 313 and 810 configuration after the split. A listing of the communities to beserved by each area code after the split is also included.

The dialing plan for the new 810 and 313 NPAs will be the same:

-All home NPA (HNPA) "local" and "zone" calls (generally calls that do not incur a charge) can be dialedon a 7 digit basis with no prefIX; i.e., NXX + XXXX (7 digits) --or with a prefIX "1" and 10 digits; i.e., 1+ HNPA + NXX + X""CXX (I + 10 digits). -

-All home NPA (HNPA) direct dialed "toll" calls (generally calIs that incur a charge) must be dialed witha prefIX "1" and 10 digits; i.e., 1 + HNPA + NXX + XXXX (1 + 10 digits).

-All foreign NPA (FNPA) direct dialed calls must be dialed with a prefIX "1" and 10 digits; i.e., 1 + FNPA+ NXX + XXXX (1 + 10 digits).

NOTE: In the communities of Livonia, St. Clair Shores, North'ville Township, and Genoa ToVwmhipforeign NPA direct dialed "local" cans, within each community, can be dialed on a 7 digit basis with noprefIX; i.e., NXX + XXXX (7 digits).

-Operator assisted calls including credit card calls, collect, and third party calls will be dialed with a ..0"prefIX and 10 digits; i.e., 0 + NPA + NXX + x:xxx (0 + 10 digits).
