HISTORY

The Belasco Theater – a relic of the 1920’s – made its grand debut in March

2011 after laying dormant for more than 20 years. Thanks to an extensive 3

year restoration, the venue retains most of its original architecture – meshed

with impressive sound and lighting capabilities. Located blocks away from

the L.A. Live complex in the heart of downtown Los Angeles, this venerable

landmark is the city’s premiere multi-purpose event and entertainment

complex.

Belasco Theater has hosted some of the most

Angeles. With a variety of vibrantly colored

and ornately detailed stand-alone spaces,

coupled with an exceptional staff, the Belasco

Any event held in the Belasco’s historic Main Theater is sure to be as unforgettable

as the space itself. The intensely powerful D&B Sound System is the largest system

in Southern California and is sure to leave a memorable mark on any visitor. Three

fully accessible lit bars, an elegant multi-tiered balcony overlooking the stage area

featuring rows of reconfigurable booths, and two separate smoking-friendly patios

also characterize the space.

BALLROOM Swathed in shades of deep red and gold, the Belasco Theater’s private ballroom is a

perfect choice for receptions, parties, and awards ceremonies. A 23’ x 9.5’ stage

anchors the room, flanked by seven large leather booths on each side and a sizable

dance floor. On its walls sit Greek-style sculptures juxtaposed with intricate awnings

and molding, creating a truly elegant feel. The Ballroom has its own private entrance

from Hill Street and can be used as its own event space.

Located directly off the lobby of the Main Theater, Vintage 10 Fifty features a

towering 2-story bar, plush booths, 3 plasma screen TVs and a 2nd story Mezzanine

Lounge for extra room and seating. This elegant event space has its own private

entrance from Hill Street, perfect for intimate mixers and private parties for 20 to 100

guests.

BASEMENT LOUNGE

The Basement Lounge is a secret event space located below the Main Theater lobby

and connects directly to the Main Theater’s dressing rooms. Paying homage to its

“speak easy” past, the Basement Lounge features an elegant dance floor, comfortable

booths, colorful bar and a storied bridge. The Basement Lounge is perfect for events

for up to 250 guests.
