Interactive strategies for teaching, learning and assessing 

Partenrship with the local community, through the Parents’ Committee and the Students’ Council, both actively involved in the extra-curricular activities.

“THE BEST OF US” CONTEST– awards students with the best results in promoting our school’s image. The contest began in 2000, when 84 de students were nominated and awarded. In 2001 their number grew to 196 and in 2002 to 306. 2003 brought us 350 prizes and in 2004 there were 120 prizes out of 350 nominations.

held each spring, host activities organised by teachers and students for promoting the new interactive methods of teaching-learning-assessing.

THE CLEAN ROMANIA PROGRAMME, run with the help of the Bucharest 3rd District City Hall and aiming to raise interest in the environment.

INFORMATICS CLASSES : in the summer of 2004, our students were offered the opportunity to attend Informatics classes taught by Korean volunteers, therefore having also the chance to go through an extraordinary intercultural experience.

THE 2000+ EDUCATION PROGRAMME, run with the support of The Fundation for an Open Society, which also provided our school with material supply and training for the teachers.

INTERNATIONAL PROJECTS, with the aim of promoting intercultural collaboration, tolerance and interest in study.

• SPRING VIBRATION - ECOLOGICAL EDUCATION PROJECT

• KADO – whose aim is to study Korean language and taekwondo

PUBLISHING MAGAZINES that have been awarded: EPSILON (the Mathematics magazine), EVRIKA (the Physics magazine) and JOC SECUND (the Literature magazine).
