Parish Council Elections In preparation for Parish Council elections on May 7 & 8, a nomination committee has been estab-lished to receive the name of those who may be interested in serving on the Parish Council. Seven

positions are open for voting. Please submit name to Mark or Dory Portzer (561-0951). Candidates must be members of St. Elias Parish & come here on a regular basis (Sat. or Sun. and Holy Days).

*Please do not nominate people who have served on Parish Council since Fr. Kevin’s arrival in June 2010.

From the Pastoral Handbook: “...the Pastor is to appoint an Elections Committee, who will prepare a list of candidates for election to

one-year or two-year terms of service on the Pastoral Council. Prior to publication, this list it to be kept confidential and is to be submitted to the Pastor for approval. The Pastor is not obliged to

ROANOKE KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS FUN KNIGHT

The Roanoke Knights of Columbus are hosting a game night on Saturday,

May 14, 2016 at St. Elias Social Hall. Doors open at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $15.00

in advance and $20.00 at the door. The price includes one free beverage, initial chip allotment,

hors d’oeuvres, and entry in a door prize raffle. In addition, there will
