Airport: DAY 0.

So we got up at 6:00AM in the morning and we just got ready. In a hour we (Lachlan and Daniel) left to the Melbourne Airport. We arrived at the airport at 8:30AM which gave us enough time to get through customs and other sorts of stuff. We got our lollies and we went on the plane at 9:55. Just in time. We took off and our journey started.

Yay we are here! We are finally in Shanghai. Well I guess this only means one thing. Our China Intrepid tour has begun!

ATTRACTIONS: DAY 1Today we went to the ERA acrobats and it was $48.00 for both of us and we got a taxi to there and that cost $16.00. We also went to the Pearl tower and we did the Glass floor, Space capsule and a little bit of shopping. $334.00 for both of us. For lunch we went to Din Tai Fung restaurant. After lunch we went to the Shanghai Urban Planning museum. It was amazing! It cost $167pp. $334 for both of us. At night we took a train to East Nanjing road. The neon lights were beautiful but it was very crowded! After dinner (Mcdonalds) we caught a train back to our apartment and we slept ready for our next day!

EVEN MORE ATTRACTIONS! Shanghai. DAY 2Today we did the best attraction in Shanghai! That was for us though. We did the Mr X puzzle house. It cost $320 for both of us. We got to the final room but we couldn’t figure out how to solve the last one (because it was tricky) so we were let out. Xitang DAY 3This morning we went to a new place called Xitang. We went for a nice ride on the water. For most of the day we explored the town on a boat we hired for $80. After that we went and checked out the train station to make sure we know what train we are catching. Xi’an DAY 4After a long sleep on the train we finally made in one piece. (Some how.) We are going to the ibis hotel for 2 nights. $40 for both of us. We went to Xi’an Museum and it was $220 for both of us. We went to our hotel and stayed there for the night. So now we are ready for the next day.

Xi’an DAY 5.Hello everybody and we are going to go to more places in Xi’an. Today we are going to one of the most ancient places, The Terracotta army. It was awesome. Unfortunately we can’t take photos in there so we have no pics to show you. Great wall of China. DAY 6Today we arrived at the great wall of China there isn’t much to say about it because the whole day we really just rode around looking at the amazing views. For lunch we forgot to bring something but luckily we found a guy with quite a lot of food so we gave the guy fifty yuan which he was happy about because he bought the food for much less but we were hungry. The day was great and afterwards we caught a bus to Beijing and we arrived there at 7:30pm caught a taxi to our hotel which we hadreally been looking forward to. But that is in Beijing How much we spent at the great wall of China.$10

Beijing DAY 7

Finally we are at Beijing. The capital of China. In 2008 Beijing was lucky enough to get chosen to host the Olympics. But we are staying at a 5 star hotel. (If you don’t know what it is go look at the previous page.) But today we are staying at our hotel just relaxing. We decided to just stay there before the next day and our adventure will continue tomorrow. See you for now but we got a pic of Beijing from our hotel room so have a look at it.

Beijing DAY 8

Today we woke up and when we were going down to the cafe we saw that Broden, Blake and Ryan T were at the same hotel. They have actually got the same hotel. Only Broden was there at the time. Daniel was in the bathroom. Now we are going to The Forbidden City. It said that it is free?

It was an amazing thing to do but we spent too long and we had to go back to our hotel. 5 stars means we had dinner there and it was

payed when we payed for it. It was just weird how it was free when we planned it.

Beijing DAY 9

Today is our last day so we are going to go to 2 more places. 1 to look around and 1 for lunch. Then after that we will pack for when we leave tomorrow. So we went to the Temple of Heaven in Jingshan park. It cost $174 for both of us. We stayed there till 1:00PM then we went looking for lunch. We found a place called Mama’s lunch Beijing. Now thats a name I don’t see. My favourite food there was the dumplings. It was just full of different fillings and I loved it. Daniel loved the noodles and rice. Yummy. Well time to go to sleep because we have a busy day tomorrow finally going back to australia.How much we spent at Beijing.$452How much we have left.$7564.26

Airport: DAY 9

Today is the day. Today we go home. It is really exciting for us to go home at last. We have our passports stamped and we are going on the airplane now.I hear the engines roaring and we take off.Here is our flight details.
