international studies area and seⅣ es as an irnportant base for producingmultⅡ ingua丨 and interdiscipⅡ nary professionals with global vision. PREAMBLE:

VVhereas both institutions have signed a Genera丨 Agreement of CoⅡ aboration onMarch 26th2013that includes the exchange of students∶ 、″hiCh Was ratiⅡ ed andextended until March26th2023.

VVhereas the above named institutions recognize the irnportance of giving theopportunity to their students to farniⅡarize themse丨 ves、″ith the curricula, language

and cu丨ture of participant countHes,they hereby agree∶

1.oBJECTIVE

UNAⅢ and BFsU(the Parties)hereby estab|ish a student Exchange Program(theExchange Prograrvl) in 。rder to enable a student registered in one university(HOme University) to fo"°w courses or Iη ake research stays at the other(HOstUniVersity)in order to βatisfy part ofthe credit requirements necessary to qualify fora degree atthe Home University.

this EXChange Prograrn,students rnust rneet aⅡ specific requirements set down bythe Home University and the HOst University.

2.oBLIGATlONs AND RIGHTs OF THE PARTlCIPANTs

2.1. The students adrvlitted to the Exchange Prograrn (herea】 er referred to asExchange students)∶

a) sha"remain registered fu"-time and pay tuition and otherfees atthe HOmeUniversity;the HOst丨 nstitution、″Ⅱl not charge the incorning exchange tuitionfees,student appⅡ cation or registration fees;

b) sha" agree to study/do research at least one acadernic semester, but nomore than one acadernic year fuⅡ -time at the HOst University,in a program

of studies preViously approved by the appropriate authOHties of the Home

University,and the one that wiⅡ be ab丨 e to approve the training carHed outabroad;in respect to the speCific rnanagement needs and regulations in the

country ofthe Parties.

2.2. students adrnitted in this Exchange Prograrn may request financia丨 supportfrorn the suppo吐 programs to which they are entiued as students of their Home

University.

3.IMPLEMENTATION

3.2. BOth Parties w"l fomard the releVant data of the norninated students to the

HOst UniVersity. suCh norninations sha" be accompanied by an o矸 icial acadernic

transcript re丨 ating to the students concerned and any other documentation required

by the Host University.

The dates for submiⅢ ng applicati° ns” r Exchange Students wishing to startCourses at UNAM in peHods of August/september,sha"be nouⅡ ed t° the HOmeUniversity between Rllarch and Apri1appⅡ cations for courses that sta吐 at UNAM inJanuary / February should be sent between september and ○ctober. EaChsemester UNAM wⅢ notify the eXact dates.

The applicauon of uNAM students wishing to sta吐 cOurses at BFsU in september,should be sent before June 10. AppⅡ cations for courses that start at BFs1J inFebruary/March must be sentto the BFsU before January10∶

The Host University sha" haVe Ⅱnal authoHty on aⅡ adrnission decisions forstudents received as Exchange students. lt is expected that the receiving HOst

University、 ″Ⅱl accept a nornination except in extraordinary circumstances,and in

such cases, the Home University wⅡ 丨 subrnit additional app"cations forconsideration. ˇ

3.3. Each Party shaⅡ be in charge of promoting the Exchange Prograrvl to itsstudent conⅡηunity; to this end, the Parties agree to exchange a" documentsproviding inforrnation to the candidates on the programs of study aVa"ab丨 e in each

丨nstitutions.

3.4. students W"l be provided With sCho丨 arships frorn the Host丨 nstitution up to a

maXirnum of ten enroⅡ ed in the two terrns∶ else, Ⅱve enro"ed in year stay. Thenumber、″Ⅱ丨 be deⅡ ned on a year丨 y basis on a reciprocity balance. FOr UNAMstudents, BFsU grants wⅡ l be provided in accordance with standards set by the

China scholarship Counci丨 (CsC)for f。 reign students.For BFsu students,UNAMscholarships、″Ⅱl be provided in accordance、 ″ith the standards estabⅡ shed by theⅡnancia丨 prograr11aVaⅡabIe each semester,according to budget avaⅡ ab"ity.Everye仟ort WⅡ 丨be1η ade to achieVe parity in the numbers of students exchanged,but theParties recognize that sma" irnba|ances may occur peHodica"y. However, thenumber0f exchanged students sha" be balanced at the end of the term of thepresent agreement. lf not ba丨 anced at the end of the terrn of the presentAgreement,both Parties、 ″Ⅱl be able to deve|op a p丨 an to balance it out,

3.5.Each Party sha"take appropriate,η easures to:η ake sure that everV EXchange

student wⅡ丨 be ab丨e to enrol and wⅡ丨 Ⅱnd roorn in a" the cOurses previouslyapproved by both Parties, in accordance with the artic丨 es 1 and 3.2. of thisAgreement.

3.6. The Host University agrees to assist the EXchange students in Ⅱnding

adequate options of housing.

3.7. EXChange students must obtain adequate medical insurance which wil丨provide thern appropriate heaIth care protection,according to the βtandards set out

by the Host UniVersity.

4.TERM OF THE AGREEMENT

This Agreement vviⅡ enterinto force on the date ofits signature and、 ″Ⅱl be in force

until Rllarch26th?023,and mey be renewed,after an evaluation of the results,by

written agreeme0t ofthe pa1ies.This Agreement may be termihated in advance by

either party by written notice to the other party6(six)rnonths in advance of the

anticipated date of terrrlination,

丨n the event of ear丨 y termination,both parties、″Ⅱltake the necessary measures toavoid harrvl, both to them and to third parties, 、″ith the understanding that theactions already begun rrlust continue untiltheir Conclusion.

5.lNTELLECTuAL PRoPERTY

The right to inte"ectua丨 property sha" devolve upon the Party whose sta仟 sha"haVe carHed out the work to be pubⅡshed, giving due acknowledgment to thoseWho shall have contributed to the execution of said、″ork.

PubⅡ cations of various kinds (books, pamph丨 ets, articles, research posters, webpages,databases,etc,)as、″ell as co-productions and their distribution that cou丨 dbe produced as a result ofthis Agreement v旧

"be carried out by CoΠwηon cOnsent.

丨t is expressly understood that both Pa吐 ies may use the resu|ts obtained from the

activities authorized by the presentinstrument for acadernic purposes.

6.LABOR RELATlONs

BOth Pa吐ies agree that staff assigned by each one for the undertaking of thepresent Agreement is understood to be assigned exclusively by the emp丨 oyingParty∶ thus, each Party assumes its own responsibⅡ ity in this respect, and in no

case sha"the institutions be cOnsidered substitute or Ⅱable employers.

7.FORCE MAJEURE

lt is clear丨 y stated that the Parties WⅡ 丨haVe no claiJη for any damages that rvlight

occur as a result of uneXpected, unforeseen events, such as an aCadernic oradr11inistrative stHke, 丨t is understood that once that the unforeseen event hasceased,the Pa吐 ies、″

8.MODIFICATIONs

This Agreement can be1η odified or extended by cOnl【 ηon consent of both Parties;modifications or extensions sha" bind the signatOHes beginning with the date of

their signatures.

9.INTERPRETATION AND CONTROVERslEs

This Agreementis rrlade in good faith by virtue of which any cOnf丨 ict that rnay aHse

with respect to its interpretation, forrvla丨 ization and ful猁 rvlent、″"l be reso丨

ved byagreement between the Parties.

lN WITNEss WHERE0F the du丨 y authorized officers of the Parties have signed

this Agreementin dupⅡ cate,2cOpies in EngⅡ sh,2cOpies in Chinese and2copiesin Spanish, all versions being equaⅡ y VaⅡ d, on the dates indicated be丨 ow. EachParty keeps a version in each language.
