The Greater Columbia Region has a shortage of behav- ioral health professionals and clinical providers who are able to mentor, supervise, provide internships or train professionals seeking degrees, certifications, and/or training in behavioral health. Through the $490,000 Behavioral Health Internship and Training Fund, GCACH seeks to support its provider organizations who wish to add to the overall capacity of behavioral health person- nel in our region. Requirements for Applicants: Ability to demonstrate the capacity and competency to provide behavioral health training and clinical experience Develop mutually beneficial objectives that meet the needs of the applicant and the intern Applicant will provide an evaluation of the intern and program of work to demonstrate efficacy of the process Applicants will provide a written plan documenting how and what activities in which the intern will participate The intern will participate in one GCACH Learning Collab- orative throughout their internship which will, if appropri- ate, count toward their required training Funding is available in amounts of $5,000 - $40,000 per year per award.
