ABOUT Bal-A-Vis-X
Bal-A-Vis-X was created by Bill Hubert. Bill taught for 30 years in multiple settings and at various age levels.
Over time, Bill concluded that all of his students who struggled academically tended to exhibit similar physical characteristics:
inability to control eye movement inability to focus attention inability to sit or stand without moving illegible handwriting stiff/locked posture or limp posture rhythmless gait rhythmless cadence while talking or reading
aloud difficulty distinguishing left from right clumsiness mental and/or physical apathy
After working with students for over two decades, Bill developed Bal-A-Vis-X: Rhythmic Balance/Auditory/Vision Exercises for brain and brain-body integration. The exercises demand cooperation, promote self-challenge, and encourage peer teaching.
This training was offered in 2013 and there have been some significant updates since then, including the use of the feet to provide a full body, R/L brain integration.
For more information, go to Bill’s website: www.bal-a-vis-x.com
Types of students who will benefit:
LD ADHD Dyspraxia Behavior Difficulties Mild Physical Impairment Gifted General Education Geriatric Deficit
These multi-level exercises enhance full body coordination and focused attention utilizing beanbags, balls and balance boards.
Course Schedule:
Day 1 8:00 – 5:30 Level 1 FOUNDATION EXERCISES
Day 2 8:00 – 5:30 Level 1, 2 INTERMEDIATE EXERCISES
