HELLO BEES!

Since we were sure you are all very curious about what has everyone been doing since TAT, updates group has prepared stomething for you - here is our first updateazine! We also need to announce that some part of bees went collecting honey on Mars, so they could not share more about their life and they say hi from far away.

HopeHope you enjoy first edition of Beee’s updateazine and big thanks to everyone that replied and we really plan to have future editions as well!

Editors: Urša, Mitja, Maruša, Mirna, Andreea

Emilia: Biggest training news is that we organized a TRAM for finnish psychology trainers on trainer's identity over one weekenD. Also, I've beeN teaching at a psychology university prep course a.k.a my first job where I get money for teaching (and secretly training ;)

Herve:I delivered sessions in 2 BEST events, one local in France and one international in Belgium. I started a book about The Power of Pull (by John Hagel), in order to try to see how we can implement more visibly some of the elements at LSS such as community empowering. I took part in the selection of LSS Trainers team where there were many Bees who applied.

Ewelina:Since TAT I became part of EFPSA Training Office as Internal Training Officer what makes me feel really excited and gives me lots of positive energy. I also started a cooperation as a trainer with Facultty of Psychology and with Social Educarion Center runed by city of Wroclaw and I'm trying myself with trainings for teenagers :)

JuliaJuliaI have been doing an internship in the training department of a company for the last 2 weeks and it was really great. The topics were communication and team building in the first week and rhetorics in the second week. It was very interesting to observe the training styles of the different trainers and how they managed to get a really good rapport to the group.

VilleAA big thing after TAT was TRAM with our Finnish trainers. We wanted to deepen our new people's identity as a trainer and come up with a vision, mission, values and a working plan for 2014 for us :) It was amazing to see the people again, to witness that the community hadn't dissolved and that we were able to fulfill our goals for the weekend. We already set up another meet for the early half of August :D It's going to be a summer cabin weekend and I'm really really excited about it :)I'mI'm also in the trainers' team in the EFPSA Congress and I'll be delivering some team building and skills trainings for the teams within EFPSA and I'm very excited about that. I'll also deliver one workshop to the normal participants. Besides these my summer plans are still quite open and I'm hoping to be doing trainings abroad. So fingers crossed :)... that or I'll have to finish my Master's :D

KlaudiaSomeSome big changes happen to me since TAT. One of them is connected with me leaving tat earlier and missing all the fun of last night - I got the job that I was applying for ;) it has a lot of positive sides but also some drawbacks - I start my work at 1.07 so I had to withdraw my application to be lss trainer which was a shame cause it was one of my big goals for this year. Now I'm keeping fingers for the success of the event so for sure it happen next year and then I can apply with one eat experience in a corporate world, haha :)What'sWhat's more? I defended my bachelor thesis at business school and posted that on FB and got more than 100likes under the picture :P (that never happen to me before so I consider it as a huge success - greeting 100likes I mean :P)

EFPSA congress is approaching which means that my mandate as Internal Training Officer in TO is over. Ewelina is taking up my position and I am really really proud of her :) what's more Bozena and Mitja will also join Training Office. Have to admit that TAT was really fruitful also in case of headhunting, haha :)

KatrienAfAfter the TAT I really felt the need to do something within the wind orchestra I'm playing in, it is going through some though times and I thought I could help :), the session from Ville & Mitja was a real eye opener. So, I made a questionnaire, discussed it with the board of the orchestra and send it out to the musicians. On the 3th of May we will have an evaluation session with everyone & me & Jean-Marc will use our training skills to leave the conflict situation behind and move the orchestra forward (I hope it wil work!)SinSince the preparation for all of this is quite intensive, me and Jean-Marc are also considering in maybe pushing all of these experiences further and maybe create a training "company" or somthing simialr that is focussed on local voluntary associations that have a need (lack of members, conflict within a group, aging board members, etc...) but all of this is still very small and with a baby coming up, we still need to see if we can accomplish our (crazy) idea ;-)AnotherAnother thing I have done after TAT was giving gratitude to someone that has a great influence in my life (this was one of the tasks of Hervé & Marusa), it really felt good, so a huge thanks to Hervé & Marusa for the session on happiness! :) (However, I am not a very good follow-upper on the task of saying gratitude every day... sorry Bali! :))

KarriImIm working at uni for GraphoGame and also I am an entrepreneur now, doing aptitude testing for schools and providing personality tests online. We dont have any clients though yet, as we founded this like two weeks ago. Step by step. We have now a website too, www.suomensoveltuvuuskoekeskus.fi :) Besides work engagement and money, I am looking for love and happiness. Somewhere between these is founding Finnish Trainer Network for psych students and graduates. That will be superawesome.

MirnaMirnaRun away to Indonesia brainless looong travel right after TAT…. really needed it after super busy year - first trip after more than a year without my laptop and some work or trainings to do :)Visited Ljubljana couple of weeks back, to participate in Slovenian Trainers Forum organized by Ursa (so, chance for nice catch up with Ursa, Mitja and Marusa :))

Right about NOW traveling to Malta, where Trainers Path was about to happen, but got cancelled… so kind of “stuck” on Malta (and not complaining at all :)) for 10 days, with a bit of work to do (God bless remote work :D), meeting couple of other trainers (Maxine included :)) and a lot of exploration of this amazing place :)Planning some sailing week in Croatia in May (<3 sailing…. best thing Ever :)) right after Malta….so days are kind of busy, but not very hard working right now :DAnd….And…. kind of trying not to make too much mess at work, regarding little pile of travel plans :) MarušaII finished a 10-week long social skills training in a youth prison, which was very rewarding and lead me to many realizations. I might write an article about that someday (hopefully sharing this plan with you will be enough of peer pressure that it actually happens :)). I found out I’ll be spending July in Istanbul with Mirna, Andreea and Herve, as I got accepted to LSS :) I’m super happy about that and I hope to meet some more of you there :)

PPawelTheThe weeks after TAT were pretty relaxed, at least in terms of projects. I had a chance to put newly aquired visualisation tricks to a test during a whole-day leadership workshop for local AEGEE antenna and it went really well (fav. evaluation: 'When I remember the flipcharts, I have tears in my eyes" ). At work I'm doing stranger and stranger stuff - for example, co-organizing a ceremony where the polish president will award some outstanding young Poles with medals for their service. Also my polish-brazilian project is approaching but unfortunately the partpart taking place there had to be cancelled (by the way, you guys know portuguese-speaking trainers residing in Poland or nearby?). Other from that I'm observing how the Hive lives, where is it going and if/how should it be improved. Also, missing you guys and Org.Com too!

Bozena

I start my role as External Training Officer in EFPSA soon and this foto shows imy joy about it it's going to be challenging and I can't wait fot that challange!

MilicaAfAfter TAT, I have cooperated with my University on a Tempus project (BAEKTEL) regarding technology enhanced learning - specifically transferring MOOK benefits to Uni education. It was a great experience ti finally be working with professors! After that has finished (for now), I returned to studies and training; in an event with a very special place in my heart, Soft Skills Academy in Belgrade, a small project we founded in Belgrade which is now an international practice. It inspired me in the first place to become a trainer Further, I have sought out coaching and am planningplanning "big" things leadership-wise for the future. A lot of you have inspired me with your thoughts, attitudes and passion. Stay tuned. I'm thinking about you every day http://youtu.be/HgXVy0ERVXM

GiedrusAfter the TAT I took some time to relax and reflect on what happened. It was such a great experience! On April I also met with a friend of mine who is a trainer in Lithuania and we started a conversation about a potential training project. At the moment I am writing from the EFPSA Congress 2014 in Romania where I will be delivering a training session. Hugs and warm wishes to the Hive!
