Banbury Heights Nursing is planning to build a 70bed care home and 10 extra care apartments inShipston-on-Stour and have appointed us asProject Managers and Quan�ty Surveyors on theproject. The new build care home will be built tothe highest standards alongside the separateextra care development and will have extensiveexternal landscaped areas.

Works have finished on this new 53bedroom care home development forOctopus Healthcare. We acted asClient Monitor on this pres�gious care

facility thatprovidesresiden�al,nursing,pallia�veand respitecare in theNorth West.

Barwood Capital have appointed us as Project Managers and Quan�ty Surveyors on there-development of the 5.9 acre Woodlands Business Park. Detailed planning consent wasobtained by the team for the infrastructure and landscaping works, with outline planning for

150,000 sq � of addi�onal office space. The exis�ng building ‘Oak House’ has beendemolished to create space for the design intent. £1m of site infrastructure

and landscaping works have just completed to the Business Park tofacilitate the addi�onal office space and we look forward

to star�ng the development.

We have completed on anew state of the art157,340 sq � Head-quarters and Parcel Hubfor DHL in Poyle. 17exis�ng units weredemolished and extensiveremedia�on was carried out to make way for the new headquarters and produc�onfacility which has been relocated from Hounslow. The facilityincorporates the latest technology and security op�ons and hasbeen built to be efficient and sustainable. The mul�-millionpound MHE equipment consists of a mul�-�er sorta�on system.

TRAVIS PERKINS, BEDFORD

A�er the successful comple�on of Phase 1 forWrenbridge Land, we are now on site with Phase 2,Criterion in Belvedere. The project includes a 44,790 sq� single storey warehouse unit with integral open planoffices. The project will be built over a 32 weekprogramme, to be concluded in August 2017.

In July 2016 we finished another Travis Perkins branch inBedford. The works included a Toolsta�on, Benchmarxand a large F&P Wholesale Distribu�on facility; fourunits totalling 124,000 sq �. Works also included theconstruc�on of a 400m adopted access road with round-about enhancements. We also completed a TravisPerkins branch in Sheffield and are about to start one inCambridge.

We have been appointed byEqua�on Proper�es as ProjectManagers & Quan�tySurveyors on a 227,500 sq �warehouse development inRaunds. The project in-corporates a logis�cs facilitywith integral two storeyoffices. Works are due tostart on this project towardsthe middle of the year and willbe built over a 32 weekprogramme.

ELDON WAY, CRICKIn December 2016 works were completed on a195,000 sq � warehouse facility for Gra�ongate/ Legal & General / IPIF in Crick. The projectconsists of a single storey warehouse withintegral two storey office space, warehouseOffices and gatehouse. The building is ideallylocated next to Junc�on 18 of the M1.Demoli�on of the exis�ng building took placebefore works could commence in March 2016.

WICKES, CORBY

Works are soon to start on a new 60,000 sq � cold store foodstorage facility for Bidcorp. The scheme comprises cold store at-25oC, chill store at 3oC, marshalling area, and an ambient area.Specialised insulated panelling is being used to form thetemperature controlled areas, and rapid rise doors allow for travelbetween the chambers without significant changes intemperatures. Works are due to complete spring 2018.

BIDCORP, WORTHING

The 20,000 sq � Wickes Centre is complete. It incorporates aWickes’ showroom focused solely on kitchens and bathrooms.The project had its complexi�es with the planning permissionwhich includes a number of Sec�on 278 works that includedthe site entrance, footpath widening, a new cycle path,pedestrian crossing and further roundabout widening. TheSec�on 278 agreement was split into two minor worksagreements avoiding the need for a lengthy legal agreementprocess, allowing the store to open to the public on �me.We have also just completed on a new Wickes HomeImprovement Centre in Norwich.

We are nearing the end of construc�on on a new 232,506 sq � Sorta�on Hub at East Midlands Airport for DHL Avia�on. The new Parcel Hub is an extension and turnkey fit-out to the exis�ng avia�on hub and incorporates anew sorta�on hub with integral two storey offices.The works are being carried out during a live opera�on to ensureso the everyday opera�on of the exis�ng sorta�on hub can con�nue without disrup�on which is business cri�calfor DHL.

Bedford Girls’ School appointed Goodrich for afourth consecu�ve year for replacement of theAstro Pitch and the renova�on works of the JuniorSchool Building. Both projects completed in good�me for 2016/2017 school year and to the highestquality. The renova�on works to the Junior Schoolconsisted of the renova�on of the Library area,introducing full height glazed walls to enhance thelight quality within the rooms. The staircase wasalso transformed from a tradi�onal �mber stair tocreate a modern look with glass and stainless steelalong with a number of classrooms. The Head’soffice was also relocated.

MARYMOUNT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, SURREY Works will commence on the newPerforming Arts Centre for MarymountInterna�onal School,Surrey, in 2018. Thisstate of the art performance centre willboast a 450 seat theatre with specialistligh�ng, audio visual installa�on, dancestudio, music tutor room and twoclassrooms. We have been appointed asboth Project Manager and Quan�tySurveyor on this exci�ng new build for theSchool. This is our second project for theschool.

Bat Ou�a Hell’ Corporate Team completedthe 25 and 50 mile Cycle4Cynthia bike rideacross the vast Northamptonshirecountryside in September 2016. It was atough course, star�ng from HoldenbyHouse, with rolling hills and high winds

ba�ling against us, the 50 mile par�cipants alsohaving to deal with a downpour of rain! Allthoroughly enjoyed the challenge and finishedfeeling a great sense of pride, especially whenthe medals were received at the finish line. Wecompleted the course for a worthy charity,Cynthia Spencer Hospice, raising a humongous£3,277.63! Thank you to all that kindly donatedand to all who took part.
