What your support makes happenIn 2019 we will undertake a major, much needed £7.5 million redevelopment of Polka Theatre. As a FUTURE POLKA supporter, you will help us make essential improvements to our unique, much-loved theatre – reimagining it as a fun, friendly and inspiring destination for future generations.

Payment to become a FUTURE POLKA FOUNDER or FUTURE POLKA FAMILY can be made in one go or spread over 3 years in monthly or annual gifts. Also, if you complete the Gift Aid declaration we can claim 25p from HMRC for every £1 you give, at no cost to you.

Future Polka FOUNDER – pledge of £10,000

We are looking for 10 FOUNDERS to pledge £10,000 each.

Founders can make payment in one lump sum or over 3 years, either as an individual or as part of a family group, which might include aunts and uncles and grandchildren. You can pay monthly, yearly or in one go. It’s your choice.

As a thank you for your support, you will be:

• Recognised a FOUNDER for life on a specially engraved commemorative plaque and in a ‘living history’ display • Given regular updates on major milestones as our plans progress• Invited on a behind-the-scenes tour of our construction site, to our reopening events and special showcases of our work in the new building

Future Polka FAMILY

– pledge of £3,000

In 2019 we celebrate Polka’s 40th anniversary. To celebrate this important milestone we are looking for 40 FAMILIES who will each pledge £3,000 towards our theatre redevelopment appeal.

We know that Polka plays a huge part in the lives of many families. In some cases we’ve hosted three generations of the same family. Our newly developed theatre will have 40 new doors – can you put your family’s name on one of them?

As a thank you to your family, you will:

• have your family’s name put on one of the new doors and in our play area display• send you updates on our theatre redevelopment• invite your family to a special play area display ‘unveiling’ event during our reopening programme
