We wanted something a little different for the honeymoon, well actually my Dad did - so we have decided to let him organise our Honeymoon... We do not know anything about where we are going or what we are doing... and this, he tells me, is where the fun comes in!

We appreciate that times are hard etc etc... but we wanted a way for you guys to join in the fun... so if you want to take part in our Honeymoon read on!

You will be able to sponsor an event or meal by simply posting a cheque, or paying money into our dedicated bank account, cash is always welcome as well! - But it is not all about the money... no, its about the opportunity! You could have your names remembered for eternity (See FirstBorn™ name plan) or have a song dedicated just to you with our OurSong™ or even have a meal named in your honour!

We will be handed an iPad/Phone with all the details on when we leave the Island.

Each day a new page will open and we will get to find out what we are doing - and who has made it all possible! If there is OurSong to be played then that will be playing whilst we set off on that adventure!

You choose how much you want to sponsor the HappyCouple for, my Dad will allocate an event for your sponsorship and do all the necessary stuff to brand it with your details.

The type of events will include things like:Flights, Car Hire, trip down a disused coal mine, meal for two, evening show, visit to a cardboard box manufacturing plant, eye poking session, honeymoon suite in a motorway service station, 2 empty bottles of motel shampoo, .... basically anything that sounds fun to my Dad... although he tells me he wanted to come with us so I doubt the eye-poking thing is real.

If you want to record a short video to accompany your event then thats great... keep it under 30 seconds please - unless you are a main sponsor!

Every attempt will be made to accommodate special requests, however the organisers cannot held held liable for any cockups, howsoever caused, even if the fault is blatantly theirs.

Should the HappyCouple actually agree to the utterly bizarre notion of naming their FirstBorn after you then you will not have any rights whatsoever over the child so named - the child is not yours.

If you are uncomfortable with having your name associated to any particular event then your sponsorship money will be used for general expenses - which will be especially appreciated!

How it Works

The Shock and Awe Tour needs support!

You can help by sponsoring a Shocking event or an Awesomely romantic moment...

£40, £50 or £60Our sponsorship plan for individual friends (no trying to share!) exclusive sponsorship of a romantic meal for two, a taxi ride or perhaps a days car hire! These essential opportunities enable an entry level friend to get a mention in the Shock & Awe Tour Video and book... you may get an announcement, if you have a song that is REALLY good you may get it played and you might get a photo (if someone remembers). There is NO chance their FirstBorn™ child will bear your name, none.

£100, £200 or £300Open to couples or individuals; You will get an announcement (where possible) of your sponsorship (by the Hotel Staff or Ride attendant etc.) You will get an exclusive photo of the event taken by the HappyCouple™, and if a child is born between 1st and 30th June 2013 you will have the chance to choose their name! A song of your choice will be played to accompany the event and may become “OurSong™”... “Remember when we heard this first honey?”... Poof! You will automatically spring to mind!

£1000 x 2 Main SponsorsYou will get all of above, except it will be a seriously AWESOME event that you will be sponsoring. You will get a song written specially for the event and played to the HappyCouple™ over, and over again. Your name (or the one you choose) for their FirstBorn™ will be “suggested” to the HappyCouple™ who will have the chance to decline but must return 10% of your sponsorship funds. You will have your branding on a T Shirts that will be worn every day by either of the HappyCouple™, an exclusive interview with the HappyCouple™ upon their return.Bragging rights, of course!

• Meal for The HappyCouple™ on Wednesday 5th September “Brought to you by Jack, with friends like me who needs dessert?”

• Honeymoon Suite, 7th Sept. is sponsored by “John & Jane - We actually like you both a lot and thought a night in the Honeymoon Suite would make you think better of us!” OurSong™ is “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie... and our chosen name for your FirstBorn™ is Shonelle or Frealty.

• The Shock & Awe Tour, in association with Manx Glass & Glazing is sponsoring today’s AWESOME event - The HappyCouple™ will seriously consider naming their FirstBorn™ Glas or G’lazy - OurSong™ is “Broken Glass” by Matt Bennett ... Image of T Shirt being worn proudly by the HappyCouple™.

• There will be a book, a video, a blog, a vBlog, a FaceBook page and if someone thinks this is a good concept we may get a TV show or a Live Show that can tour some of the provin-cial Universities or Northern Clubs.
