CLEANSE & MOISTURIZE We’ll start with your cleanser. You’ll just smooth this over the RIGHT SIDE OF THE FACE ONLY, PLEASE, then rinse with water. Don’t forget to take your cloth!

(Velocity, TW C/O … Drop small amount onto fingertips.) Add a little water to this, suds it up, smooth it onto the RIGHT SIDE OF THE FACE ONLY, PLEASE. Don’t forget to take your cloth with you.

THE EYES Do you mind if we try some of my very favorite bag busters before we finish up with our Miracle? I think you’ll love these as much as I do!

THE REVEAL

Are you ready for your Miracle?

Take your mirror out of your tray and let’s hold it with both hands at arms length. Keep your head straight, look at the contour of your jaw line and cheek area. Do you see the face lift you just got today? (draw fingers up and out on right side)

I keep my founda�on pages in my gray caddy with all of my founda�ons.

(My skin care and demo items go in the acrylic caddy, $7.50 on sec�on 2, in my tote bag.)

You can divide the caddy into 3 sec�ons.

One sec�on for Ivory, one for Beige, one for Bronze. Keeps them easy to locate.

(Ma0e and Luminous are in one black mesh zip bag. The other black mesh bag holds the Medium

Coverage, Cream to Powder, and Tinted Moisturizer demos. The mineral powders are at the

bo0om of the caddy, on their sides. Every tube is labeled with a colored circle (yard sale s�cker)

for the undertone with the Ma0e shade equivalent wri0en on it for easy matching. The shade is

wri0en in sharpie every 1 1/2 inches around the container of the Mineral Powders.

On the sides of my caddy, I keep my placemats, my Color Insider book for makeovers,

my founda�on shade pages, my hostess info, any other papers I may want to have handy.

On one end of my caddy are sales �ckets and profiles.

On the other end of my caddy are applicators and ink pens with my product labels on them.

How to Match Foundation

First, find her undertone: yellow, olive, pink, golden, warm. Second, find her skin tone: ivory, beige, bronze. Third, ask yourself if she is light or dark in that tone. Forth, test the color on her jawline, blending WELL. If it disappears, it is the right shade. If it looks “dirty,” it is too dark. If it looks “washed out” or “chalky,” it is too light. Stay in the same undertone as you go lighter or darker. Undertone: Do you burn or do you tan? Or do you burn, then tan? Burn = pink burn, then tan = neutral / yellow tan = olive

Is she Ivory? Beige? Bronze? Is she LIGHT or DARK in that range?

If she tans and has a reddish chest area, use Beige 3 or Beige 8 … if these won’t match, go to Medium 404.

These are guidelines, and it is fine to do a “stripe test” with 2 or 3 colors on the jawline (for ivory / beige) or the cheek (for bronze) to see which one is best. Blend those stripes!

Matte = Norm to Comb, very lightweight, okay oil control Luminous = Dry to Norm, looks dewy, “the J-Lo glow” Medium = Norm to Oily, excellent color block & oil control Mineral = Norm to Comb, no oil control, can use on top of Matte or Medium as a finishing powder Cream to Powder = Norm to Comb, use with damp sponge to get a more sheer application. Tinted Moist = Norm, can use under Mineral Powder

• Your FOUNDATION FINDER TOOL gives you details about each formula.

• Your Shade Comparison Chart shows the equivalents for all the formulas—match in liquid and convert to the other formula that she wants. Minimize what you order: Just get a few of the “other formulas” but ALL of the Matte. Build the ones you sell a lot of. (Medium: 104, 200, 304, 404, 600. Mineral: Iv 2, Bg 1, Bg 2, Br 2. Cream to Powder: Iv 2, Beige 2. Tinted Moist: Iv 2, Bg 2.)

• Beige 1 is LIGHTER than Ivory 7.

• If you can NOT match in liquid, use Medium Coverage.

• Beige 404 is the GO-TO color for a tanner with reddish chest.

I used a circle for the cap and a circle on the back side of the tube, careful

not to cover the formula stripe (pink for Luminous, purple for Ma0e).

The circles I found at Wal-Mart for less than $2. the pack had pink (pink

undertone), yellow (yellow undertone), and green (olive undertone).

For the bronze, I used orange for the golden and green for the warm.

I wrote on my circles before I applied them to the tubes.

This label, for example, tells me that this is my

Ivory 202 Medium Coverage founda�on,

and it is equivalent to the Ivory 5 Ma0e shade.

It would be a green s�cker because

202 / Iv 5 are an olive undertone.

For Mineral Powder, I wrote the shade

with a Sharpie marker every 1 1/2 or so

around the container. Any way the

container is si>ng in my caddy, I can

quickly see the shade and get what I

need. On the LID , I wrote the shade

and the Ma0e equivalents for easy color

matching.
