Our most subscribed show to date! With 63 entrants exhibiting, up from 51 in 2016, a wonderful range of vegetables, fruits, flowers, cookery, beverages, crafts and photography.
Orston Produce Show Chairperson Lyn Churcher said: “Each year our Produce Show just gets better and better. We are so fortunate to receive sponsorship from our local businesses, the Parish Council and Councillor Francis Purdue-Horan. It was a fantastic day, thanks to our hard working committee, volunteers, Judges, Stewards and Orston and Thoroton WI who provided refreshments.”
The judges made their rounds viewing, tasting and marking. At 14.30 the doors opened and in came the public eager to see all the amazing produce on show. And what a sight it was - well done to everyone who entered. You did us proud.
Save the date for next September - with some interesting additions to the classes.
