STORY OF THE CUVÉEThis Cuvée results from a legacy of 1st Growth Beaune-Grèves by Pierre Floquet in 1997.

TERROIRS & DESCRIPTION Until 2003 the vines were leased out, but now the Hospices de Beaune cultivates 3∕4 ha., which allowed a new Cuvée to see the light of day for the first time in 2004. The age of the vines is not exactly known, but they are estimated to be about 35 years old. The vines lie partly alongside, and partly just uphill from the very heartof the famous First Growth Les Grèves.

He proposes all wine lovers to buy en primeur (as futures) wines from the Hospcices de Beaune estate at the auction that takes place every year on the 3d Sunday of November. There are two options : to buy a minimum of only 6 bottles within a selection of cuvées or a full barrel (288 bottles) within the 45 cuvées available.
