WelcomeI tell you what campers! We just can’t wait for this summer with you! Your time here will be packed with crazy fun activities that you know and love, as well as NEW ones that we can’t wait to introduce to you! We are sure it will be full of countless memories made with your current best friends and best friends that you don’t even know exist yet! We can’t wait to get to know Jesus better with you through the fun, the sweet times in the Bible, and the “good for the soul” conversations that are around every corner. So, if you don’t have a countdown going yet, you better start one! We are praying for you while you are not here and we can’t wait to see you soon!

My name is Elizabeth Lamm, also known as Lammy around camp, and I am SO thrilled to be the Chippewa Village Director this summer!! There are so many unique experiences to be had in this place, so many new friends to make, and so many people who are already praying for your time here this summer. With expectation I pray that this mountain-top experience continues even after you leave the camp’s gates. I pray that the Lord shows His love to you in new ways, whether that’s through friends, your counselors, or the beautiful Creation we get to live in! I am already counting down the days!

Hi everyone! My name is Gracie Knapp, and I’m going to be the Creek Village Director this summer! This is my 12th summer at Camp Crestridge, and I just can’t get enough! Crestridge holds a special place in my heart, and my faith wouldn’t be where it is today without my experiences at camp. I hope you all are getting excited to come back to camp! Get ready to sing and dance your hearts out, get dirty, make yummy s’mores, have paint wars, and take in the amazing views of the beautiful Blue Ridge mountains! Get pumped for the best summer of your life! It’ll be here before you know it!

I am Meredith Green and I’m so blessed to be the Catawba Village Director this summer! I am counting down the days until we are together at my favorite place in the world! This will be my tenth summer at Camp Crestridge and I cannot wait to spend it alongside you girls. I hope that you are excited to see old friends, make many new ones and experience Crestridge’s special traditions! My prayer is that you will challenge yourselves spiritually this summer. Our God is a loving Father and He is constantly pursuing your heart! I love you all already and I cannot WAIT until this summer begins and we can finally meet!!!

Hi!!! My name is Helen Hardy and I can’t contain my excitement to be the Cherokee Village Director this summer!! I was a camper at Crestridge for 9 summers and have worked on staff the past 3 summers. While I was a camper and a staffer, I learned so much about Christ’s love for me, His pursuit of my heart, and the adventurous life we have when we decide to follow Him. I am pumped for all the new friendships and adventures the Cherokee village will have as we seek the Lord together! Please know that I am praying for this summer and CAN’T WAIT to see y’all soon!

Hello all of you wonderful campers! My name is Elise Moffatt. Last summer was my very first summer at Camp Crestridge and it was AMAZING. I had the opportunity to be a counselor in the Chickasaw Village. This summer I will be serving as a Village Director for the Chickasaws! I am SO excited to see what this summer has in store for us. I know it will be full of new, exciting, and unforgettable experiences. I cannot wait for all of us to learn more about Jesus and what it means to be His follower. This summer is going to ROCK so get ready!!!!

Man, am I excited to be back at one of my favorite places on earth! My name is Becky Haltiwanger, a senior Health Education student at the University of Florida. I have the wonderful opportunity of being the Cheyenne Village Director this summer and holy moly am I excited! Twelve year olds are some of the funniest people I know and I cannot wait to spend the summer laughing my head off with them. Wow, I cannot wait to meet all of you! I’m getting giddy just thinking about it!! This summer is going be WIGGITY WIGGITY WACK!

Hi everyone! I am so excited that I have the opportunity to serve as the Choctaw Village Director this summer! I am beyond excited to head back to Crestridge; there is no place I would rather be! Everything about camp—from the goofiness and excitement of games, activities, and traditions, to the friendships built, to the beauty of the mountains, to the time spent worshipping the Lord—makes it so special to me, and I am so excited to get to spend time with YOU there this summer!! True NorthWhen you look up into the sky on a clear night, there are countless stars. You see thousands, but there are billions more that your eye can’t even see. Did you know there’s only one visible star that always points in the same direction? While all other stars change, the North Star always points in the direction of True North. In our world today, it seems like everything is changing and it’s hard to know what’s true and constant. This summer, we’re going to talk about how God, like True North, is constant, trustworthy and ever-present in our lives and that Jesus is the way God shows Himself to us.

Grace Arant - Administrative DirectorI’m a native Nebraskan and, now, an honorary North Carolinian. I came to camp as a counselor two summers ago, then returned as Waterfront Director. I love this summer camp so much that I wanted to be here summer, fall, winter AND spring. So, I decided to stay as one of the resident interns! And with that, you could say I’m a happy camper. :) I can’t wait to see all that the Lord has in store for this summer and to serve as Administrative Director. I’m a little dorky, super corny (much thanks to my Midwest upbringing) and I just love Crestridge a lot.

Amanda Rymer - Program DirectorMy name is Amanda Rymer, and I am currently one of the hiring and recruiting interns at Crestridge, but will be serving as your Program Director this summer! Get ready for some crazy awesome activities, spontaneous dance parties, and super fun surprises!! I love this place, these kids, and I am so pumped to see how our staff will impact kids’ lives this summer. God has BIG THINGS in store, and I’m so excited to be a part of it!

Abby Andrews – Skills DirectorHi everyone! My name is Abby Andrews and I am a senior at The University of Florida, majoring in Elementary Education. I love teaching kiddos and drinking good coffee. This summer will be my 11th summer at camp and I cannot wait to serve as Skills Director! I am so excited to get to know all the campers and staff, as well as plan your skills! I cannot wait to see how the Lord will grow the staff and campers this summer! Get ready for the best summer of skills ever!!!

Jessica Giles - Assistant Program DirectorHi Crestridgers! My name is Jessica Giles, and I will be your Assistant Program Director this summer! This will be my second summer at camp, and I can’t wait to be back at my favorite place. Last summer I was a counselor in the Catawba village, and I had the greatest summer of my life. Some of my favorite memories are throwing paint with my campers, blobbing into the lake and talking about Jesus. We have some amazing activities and surprises planned for you all, and I’m so excited to have the best summer ever with all of you! The Crestridge Guide to SUMMER FITNESS 10 easy steps!

4Every time you get the urge to run, take it to a fast walk. We here at Crestridge think efficiency and safety can go hand-in-hand with our famous fast walking. Try it on a hill sometime. You’ll be amazed.

9Walk around your backyard and find all sizes of sticks. Build a teepee with the sticks starting from the smallest to biggest. This will refine your teepee building skills for your Tuesday night campfire!

5 Create a slip-n-slide with your friends! While doing this, practice mastering the “Super Man Slide”. 10 DWED: Drink. Water. Every. Day. We, here at camp,

like to stay hydrated!

2 Sit on the ground and lift a weighted object from one side of yourself to the other. This will prepare you for family-style meals! 7

Get two long socks (I think you know where we’re going with this one). Fill them with flour, tie a knot at the bottom, and have a target set up for practice in your back yard!

3When you go to bed at night, approach your bed with a running start, followed by an impressive leap into the air, and a flawless landing. There’s nothing quite as important as how you land on the Blob.

8Play some Steven Curtis Chapman and get your groove on! There’s nothing quite like Singspiration, and you can never over-prepare for this Crestridge novelty.

1 Find a chair and practice stepping up onto it and back down. This will get your legs toned in no time for dinner time cheers! 6

Squat 10 times-a-day with your arms open like your are about to give Scout, the crazy, cute camp dog, a big hug. Once you have mastered this, he’ll be your pal forever!
