Stacking Beacon IndicatorsA range of modular stacking (click-together) beaconlamps with high environmental protection to IP65standard. These products are ideally suited tointernal or external multi-status signallingapplications.

This modular approach enables stacks to beconstructed from any combination of module typesand eases the task of design and maintenanceengineers, system integrators and stockist/distributors. The comprehensive range builds from acommon base/terminal module and offers choice ofvisual indicator modules including LED (Rotating,Pulsed and Static), Xenon Strobe, Filament Lamp(Pulsed and Static), together with audible sounders(Mono-Tone, Pulse-Tone and Chime-Tone) andextender/separator modules.

All external parts are moulded from engineering-grade, UV-stabilised polycarbonate for enhanceddurability.

To complement the range, Wall Mounting Brackets,Pole Mounts, Cast Aluminium Bases with ThreadedM20 Entries, Compression Glands and AC to DCConverter Modules (UC-RECT) are also available.

These devices are totally modular and can beused as single indicators or multi-stacked up to6 modules high.

Smooth exterior for easy 'wipe-down' when cleaning.

All units feature UV-stabilised polycarbonate lenses,available in Red, Amber, Green, Blue and Clear.

A unique range of IP65 rated Micro Beacon Lamps and Tower Indicators. Unobtrusive yet definitive andincorporating high brilliance LED illumination, these are ideal for industrial, fire, security and automationmarkets.

The STC/LED range is manufactured either as a single Micro Beacon with point-of-sale choice of 6 lenscolours Red, Amber, Green, Blue, Clear or Yellow, or as a 2, 3, 4 or maximum 5-module Tower, each ofthe towers being supplied with all 6 colour lenses, allowing for customer colour choice and position.

With a diameter of only 32mm, a single Micro Beacon is 65mm high, and a 5-module Tower a compact225mm high.

Up-to 3 individually addressable control channels drive a 29 x 9 LED matrix allowing simpleshapes, words (three to six letters) or coloured panels to be created. End-user cost is reducedby factory-fit of LEDs to your requirements.

Explosionproof beacon lamps suitable for use in Zone 1 and Zone 2 hazardous areas. Large-format610EX beacon features white EPC coated LM25 aluminium and wire guard, whilst the DEX housingfeatures hot dipped galvanised cast iron with white EPC coating. A steel wire guard is optional for theDEX housing. Alternative EPC coating colours can be accommodated to suit specific applications.

Law

1 (a) These conditions apply to allquotations, offers and contracts forthe sale of goods by D.G. ControlsLimited and/or D.G. SwitchcontrolsLimited, whose registered officesand works are situated at Cadley HillRoad, Swadlincote, DerbyshireDE11 9TB, England (the "Seller").

(b) In these conditions the "Buyer"means the person, firm or companywho has ordered or agreed topurchase goods from the Seller.

2 (a) Any order submitted for any goods isa binding offer to purchase thosegoods on these conditions. Verbalorders are accepted only at theBuyer's risk and the Seller'sinterpretat ion of any verbalinstructions will be considered andagreed by the Buyer to be correctand valid.

(b) All terms and conditions of the Buyerare hereby excluded.

(c) A quotation by the Seller does notconstitute an offer.

(d) Any offer by the Seller to sell anygoods is open for acceptance for 14days from and including the date ofthat offer unless otherwise specifiedin such offer.

(e) The Buyer shall not be entitled tocancel or modify any ordersubmitted by it or to return anygoods delivered by the Sellerwithout the Seller's written consent.

(f) If the Seller agrees to cancellation orreturn, the Buyer shall be liable topay to the Seller an amount asspecified by the seller (minimum of25% of invoice value of goods or £25whichever is the greater) togetherwith all costs of handling, carriage,insurance and packing in relation todelivery of the goods and arrangingfor return of the goods to the Seller.Any credit amount due to the buyeris not refundable but will be held bythe seller to be set against futureinvoicing.

(g) In purchasing the goods the Buyeragrees to take on all financial andlegal obligations for the responsibledisposal of the goods at the end oflife, according to the requirements ofthe Waste Electrical and ElectronicEquipment (WEEE) Directive2002/96/EC and subsequentMember State legislation.

3 (a) Unless otherwise agreed, the pricefor any goods shall be the Seller'sadvertised list price at the time thegoods are invoiced to the Buyer.

(b) The Seller may vary the price of thegoods by a reasonable amountattributable to a change in orinsuff ic iency of the Buyer'sinstructions or specifications and/orto be in line with the prices ruling atthe date of invoice.

(c) All prices are exclusive of valueadded tax and any other taxes andduties which will be payable inaddition at the rate current at thetime of invoice.

(d) Where specifically stated, the pricesfor the goods include carriage,packaging, and other delivery costsfor delivery of the goods in a singleconsignment to a United Kingdommainland address, during normalworking hours as operated by theSupplier. Otherwise and also thecosts of delivery of the goodselsewhere or in more than oneconsignment shall be an additionalcharge to the Buyer.

(e) The Seller shall be entitled to decidethe method of carriage. If the Buyerrequests a method of carriage, thenit shall pay for any additionalcharges, costs and expensesincurred by the Seller, in arranging

for carriage by a different method.

4 (a) The Buyer acknowledges that thegoods are subject to a continuingprocess of change and developmentand that the goods may not complyin all respects with the technicalspecifications set out in the Seller'scatalogues or elsewhere, or beidentical in all respects with goods ofthe same type previously supplied.

(b) The Seller reserves the right tomake unilaterally and without priorreference to the buyer anyreasonab le change to anyspecification of the goods prior todespatch.

(c) The Buyer acknowledges that allspecifications and details in allc a t a l o g u e s , q u o t a t i o n s ,acknowledgements and web sites,are approximate only and do notform part of the contract.

5 (a) The Seller will use its reasonableendeavours to deliver goods by theagreed delivery dates or if no datesare stated, within a reasonable time.

(b) All delivery dates are estimates onlyand time of delivery is not of theessence.

(c) The Buyer shall not be entitled torefuse to accept late delivery or treatlate delivery as a breach of contract.

(d) The Seller shall not be liable for latedelivery or non-delivery owing to anycircumstance beyond its reasonablecontrol (including any delay, act oromission of a third party carrier usedby the Seller) and delivery of anygoods shall be suspended for solong as such circumstance lasts.

(e) The Seller shall be entitled towithhold delivery of any goodswhere any amounts payable by theBuyer to the Seller are overdue onany account whatsoever, withouta l lowing terminat ion of theoutstanding balance of the order bythe buyer.

(f) If the Buyer refuses to acceptdelivery of the Goods, the Buyershall in addition to the price, pay theSeller's costs incurred in returningand storing or otherwise disposingof the goods.

6. Risk in the goods shall pass to theBuyer on delivery to the Buyer or itsagent, representative or carrier.

7 (a) The Seller shall not be liable for totalloss in transit, unless non-delivery isnotified to the Seller within 3 daysafter the Seller has despatched itsdelivery advice note.

(b) The Buyer shall inspect the goodsimmediately on receipt, and theSeller shall not be liable for defectsor shortages discoverable onreasonable inspection unless theBuyer notifies the Seller within 3days from and including the date ofdelivery.

(c) Where the Buyer notifies the Sellerof any non-delivery, defects orshortages, the Seller's only liabilityshall be at its sole option as soon asreasonably practicable to repair orreplace defective goods, make goodany shortages, or to refund to theBuyer the purchase price paid for thegoods.

8 (a) Unless otherwise agreed, the Buyershall pay the Seller's invoices within30 days after the date of invoice.

(b) The Buyer shall make all paymentsin full without withholding, deduction

or set-off for any reason.(c) The Seller shall be entitled to charge

daily interest on overdue amounts atthe rate of 2.5% per month from thedue date to the date of payment.

(d) If the Seller has reasonable doubtsabout the Buyer's ability orwillingness to pay, the Seller shall beentitled to suspend performanceand to request payment on or beforedelivery or security for paymentbefore continuing with performanceof the contract. Such suspensionwill not allow termination of theoutstanding balance of the order bythe Buyer.

(e) All payments are due in the currencyas requested in the invoice.

9 (a) Title to any goods shall remain withthe Seller until it has receivedpayment in full in cash or clearedfunds for all of the goods in the sameorder, whether or not the goods areto be delivered and paid for ininstalments.

(b) Until title to any goods has passed,the Buyer holds those goods asbailee for the Seller.

(c) In the event that any payment for allor any goods is overdue or is likely tobe unpaid, the Buyer shall re-deliverthose goods on demand andauthorises the Seller to enter anypremises to remove those goods.

10 (a) If the Buyer finds a material defect inthe goods within 12 months fromand including the date of despatchthen the Seller will at its sole optionas soon as is reasonably practicablerepair or replace defective goods orrefund to the Buyer the purchaseprice paid for those goodsPROVlDED THAT:(i) the Buyer informs the Sellerwithin 3 days after the defect wasdiscovered and then proceeds asinstructed by the Supplier, includingthe prompt return, at the Buyer'sexpense of any goods claimedfaulty;(ii) the defect existed in the goods atthe time of delivery of the goods orarose from faulty materials orworkmanship, was not reasonablydiscoverable upon inspection at thetime of receipt, and did not resultfrom any modification or alteration ofthe goods by the Buyer, or fromnormal deterioration, or fromimproper or faulty connection,installation, handling, storage or useof the goods by the Buyer, or failureof the Buyer to comply with anyinstructions provided by the Seller;(iii) any trade marks or labels on thegoods have not been removed ormutilated.

(b) Where the Seller has the benefit ofany warranty or guarantee inrespect of the goods or any parts orcomponents comprised in thegoods, this warranty or guaranteeshall replace the above warranty inso far as the defect relates to suchparts or components, and the Sellerwill use his reasonable endeavoursto extend to the Buyer the benefit ofthat warranty or guarantee.

11 (a) The Seller's express liability underthe these conditions shall be theSeller's only liability and the Buyer'sonly remedy for breach of thiscontract for the sale of goods and allother liability of the Seller whether incontract, tort (including negligence),statute or otherwise, is herebyexcluded.

(b) The goods are supplied strictly onthe terms that the Buyer hassatisfied itself of their suitability for

its purposes. All warranties andrepresentations express or implied,as to the quality or fitness forpurpose of the goods are herebyexcluded.

(c) In any event, the total liability of theSeller in respect of breach of anycontract for the sale of goods or anyrepresentation given in connectionwith such a contract, whether incontract, tort (including negligence)statute or otherwise shall be limitedto the purchase price for the goods.

(d) In any event, the Seller shall not beliable to the Buyer in respect ofbreach of any contract for the sale ofgoods or any representation given inconnection with such a contract,whether in contract, tort (includingnegligence) statute or otherwisehowsoever, for any consequential,indirect or special losses, any loss ofuse, profit, business, revenue, orcontract, or any liability of the Buyerto any third party.

(e) In any event, the Seller shall not beliable for delay or non-performanceof this contract due to any event orcircumstance beyond its reasonablecontrol (including act of god,legislation, war, civil commotion,fire, flood, failure of power supply,strike or other industrial action, orany inability to obtain parts ormaterials).

(f) Nothing in these conditions shalllimit or exclude the Seller's liabilityfor death or personal injury resultingfrom its negligence.

(g) The Buyer shall indemnify the Selleragainst all actions, claims, costs,damages, expenses and other lossor liability arising out of a defect inthe goods to the extent occasionedor contributed to by any act oromission of the Buyer.

12 (a) All patents, copyrights, design rightsand trade marks, r ights toconfidence, and all other intellectualproperty rights, whether registeredor unregistered, in any part of theworld, in or developed by the Sellerin relation to the goods are and shallremain the property of the Seller.

(b) The Seller does not warrant that theimport, export, advertisement, orsale of the goods will not infringe theintellectual property rights of anythird party, and shall have no liabilityto the Buyer in such case.

(c) The Buyer shall not remove ortamper with any trade marks orlabels attached to the goods.

13 (a) All notices shall be in writing, andsent by hand, courier, first class postor facsimile to the address of therecipient stated in any quotation,order or acknowledgement of order.

(b) Notices shall be deemed to bereceived if sent by hand or courier,on delivery, if sent by first class post,on the second day following the dayof posting, and if sent by facsimile,on completion of uninterruptedtransmission.

14 These conditions and any contractto which these conditions apply shallbe governed by and construed inaccordance with English law and theparties hereby submit to theexclusive jurisdiction of the EnglishCourts.
