TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR CHALET HIRE AT WALMER PADDLING POOL SEAFRONT.

1. The chalet shall only be used by the hirer, their friends or family. 2. The chalet must not be sub-let or used for any business purposes or advertising including the erection of external signs.3. The chalet will be closed one hour after sunset and will not be re-opened before 6am the following morning. No persons may stay overnight.4. Your Leisure Kent Ltd will not be held liable for any loss, damage or injury sustained arising from Fire, Storm, Tempest, Theft, Vandalism or any other cause whatsoever.N.B: Hirers should consider purchasing their own contents insurance / take responsibility and be aware of seasonal high tides and winds5. Please note that the maximum space provided in front of your chalet must not exceed six feet.6. Windbreakers, tables and chairs must not extend furher than six feet to the front of the chalet.7. Please do not cause a nuisance to other chalet hirers or to the public. 8. Neither the hirer nor any persons using the chalet shall use a radio or other musical instrument to the annoyance of occupiers of other chalets or the passing public.9. Customer's personal fixtures and fittings must not interfere with the interior structure or décor of the chalet and must be removed at the end of the hire. Any damage caused will be charged to the customer.10. The Hirer shall keep the Chalet / Plot neat and tidy at all times and clear of rubbish, refuse or surplus materials and all contents are stored within the chalet overnight.11. Your Leisure Kent Ltd reserve the right to gain access without notification at all times to move the position of the chalet for operational, inspection and/or maintenance purposes.12. No vehicles are to be driven or parked along the promenade at any time.13. No boats or winches are to be stored in or around the Chalet or Promenade at any time.14. The Hirer must not paint the exterior of the Chalet unless prior permission has been sought from Your Leisure Kent Ltd and specified materials are agreed.15. The Hirer shall not cause or permit or suffer any damage to the property hired and will report any damage, deterioration or lack of repair to Your Leisure Kent Ltd.16. PLEASE NOTE: ALL YOUR LEISURE KENT LTD OWNED CHALETS ARE NON-SMOKING.17. The storage of flammable material in chalets is strictly forbidden.

18. Chalet Hire will be subject to a minimum one-year agreement up to a maximum of five years, unless, the customer wishes to give up their chalet earlier by providing Your Leisure Kent Ltd with one month's prior written notice. Your Leisure Kent Ltd have the right to terminate this agreement by issuing one month's written notice. 19. Unless this agreement is revoked for failure to comply with the above terms and conditions, the Hirer will be offered the option to re-join the waiting list at the end of the agreement.20. The key to the chalet must be returned to Tides Leisure Centre by 5.30pm on the last day of occupancy. 21. Your Leisure Kent Ltd reserve the right to refuse any booking without notice or terminate this agreement if the hirer fails to comply with the above Terms and Conditions and may result in the hirer being asked to vacate the chalet without any refund.

NB; It must be noted that two chalets have been specifically designed for disabled use / hire and as such should you occupy one of these chalets you may be asked to move to a different chalet at a later date in order to accommodate a customer with a disability.

N.B. All hirers should be aware of and abide by Dover District Council's bylaws e.g. BBQ's / Fires etc. These bylaws can be found on the Dover District Council website www.dover.gov.uk.

YOUR LEISURE ANNUAL CHALET BOOKING FORM

Walmer is a town in the district of Dover, Kent in England, located right on the coast in the parish of Walmer just six miles (10 km) north-east of Dover. Largely residential, Walmer’s coastline and castle attract many visitors to the area with some famous faces regularly spotted walking along the beautiful promenades.

Walmer is closely associated with its adjoining neighbour, the town of Deal and shares many amenities and services benefiting from Deal's High Street shopping area.

Take advantage of this amazing town and hire one of the Beach Chalets on an annual basis. The Beach Huts are situated adjacent to the very popular Walmer Paddling Pool, open during the period May to Sept.

The Paddling Pool comprises a Kiosk serving various refreshments and hot and cold snacks, outdoor pool for children under 10yrs, changing and toilet facilities, a large games area, Bouncy Castle (weather permitting) and 18 hole Putting Green.

Bookings and payments will be taken from July 2018 at Tides Leisure Centre, Park Avenue, Deal, Kent, CT14 9UU. Your Leisure Kent Ltd will utilise the original waiting list provided by Dover District Council.

Payment fees are outlined below. The first payment shall be made on or before the grant of this agreement. The agreement is offered for a minimum of one year and a maximum of 5 years concluding after the agreed timescale date that the agreement commenced.

Late Payments will incur a £50 late payment charge or the agreement is revoked and the Chalet offered to someone else.

Pricing Structure from July 2018Year 1 - £1273 payable by July 2018 Year 4 - £1352 payable by July 2021Year 2 - £1299 payable by July 2019 Year 5 - £1379 payable by July 2022Year 3 - £1325 payable by July 2020

N.B: Keys are to be collected from Tides Leisure Centre, Park Avenue, Deal, CT14 9UU.

Please note: if customers own padlocks are used, a key must be provided to Your Leisure Kent Ltd. Failure to provide Your Leisure with a key will result in the padlock being removed and replaced with our own padlock (this will incur a charge of £20 for labour and materials). (All padlocks must be maintained and oiled by the Hirer).

N.B: Your Leisure Kent Ltd will try wherever possible to allocate a specific chalet requested. Unfortunately, due to their increasing popularity this may not be possible in all cases.
