Four (4) Point Inspection – Normally, when you purchase a home, your insurance

company will write a new policy which may require a much smaller inspection report to

be submitted for approval. For this type of inspection, we will inspect ONLY the basic 4

components of the home – Roof, Foundation, Electric, and Plumbing(which includes the

AC). Unlike the FULL SERVICE INSPECTION, which can take up to 3 hrs to complete,

this inspection takes only 45 minutes and the report is a 3 page form which includes a

few photos.

Wind Mitigation Inspection – Most insurance companies offer a discount through the

“My Safe Florida Home” program that allow homeowners to reduce the cost of their

premiums by installing or having existing construction wind resistant measures in their

home.

These measures include hurricane strength windows, hip style roofs, hurricane roof

strapping, water proof membranes under the shingles, certain roof nail size and

spacing, and other optional construction upgrades.

In order to grant such premium discounts, the insurer requires a Wind Mitigation

Inspection™ to be performed. This does not take long and we report the results on a 4

page form with photos.
